8/14 = 57%

57% > 50%

After growing up around a group of people who kill people, poison trees, and teabag people all over a game of football, how much worse could living around ISIS be?

Well, if you hear banjo music in the background, and someone says "squeal like a pig," it might be about to get a little more "worse" on a personal basis.

Trivia: I swam the first full lap ever in the current Alabama aquatic center. In the late 1970s while I was in engineering grad school, I was coaching/playing soccer on the club team at Alabama. Jonty Skinner from South Africa, world record holder in the 100-M freestyle, was assistant coach on the swim team and also was playing soccer.

One evening after soccer practice, and just after they had finished building the new aquatic center, Jonty had to check on something so I gave him a ride to the brand new center. The pool was being filled for the first time and was about 1/2 full.

When he went to his office, I skinned down, went down into the half full pool and swam a lap (I had been a competitive swimmer when younger, high school, before Vietnam etc.) Jonty came out and was PO'd he hadn't done it.

That was 40 years ago and guess what ... I am still the first person ever to swim a lap in the current Alabama aquatic center.
