Here you go again not following the criteria set by the CFP. Margin of victory or lose is not to be considered. I didn’t write it the CFP did. We own the Head to head. Beat LSU by 27 sat there own place which is the same LSU team beat. Non the less neither bama or UT getting. I was just simply pointing out the CFP is a joke by not following its own criteria that it set.

Bama is 1-1 while playing Vandy at home
UT is 2-0 while playing both on the road.

What criteria are you referring to?
The "criteria" has always been pretty subjective as far as I can tell.

How you lose IS considered. Vols got smash 2x. Bama didn’t.
This is why bama is considered better, and they never went to the “comparable” criteria comparison. Head to head didn’t matter.

You’re an idiot! If you want to play the ref game, LSU is the only team that beat us straight up because UTk was gifted the Bama game.
We played UT early in the season on the road and we had our backup QB for the A&M game.

We don’t know if we are or not. All we can go off of is results. We beat Vandy 56-0 without Hooker in the rain and on the road. Bama beat Vandy at home 55-3 with good weather. With all its starters!

The criteria to be provided to the selection committee must be aligned with the ideals of the commissioners, Presidents, athletic directors and coaches to honor regular season success while at the same time providing enough flexibility and discretion to select a non-champion or independent under circumstances where that particular non-champion or independent is unequivocally one of the four best teams in the country.
When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must be considered:
Championships won
Strength of schedule
Head-to-head competition (if it occurred)
Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)
By the CFP criteria UT checks every box over Bama.

Not really. When you look at the common opponents played. UT beat them by a larger margin with its back up QB than Bama did with its starter. CFP supposed to use outcome of common opponents.

2 bad losses.
They only go to head to head if the teams are deemed comparable.

Bama best win is against a 4 lose team. They are 0-2 against teams in the top 15. You’re right, it shouldn’t be comparable as UT checks every box set by the CFP.
