Please. Referring to the score as a defense is pathetic at this point. It was a blood bath, and every person who isn’t a Tennessee homer realizes that. All the talking heads were saying the same thing: UGA could have named the score if they weren’t running out the clock in the 2nd half, and TN only had one TD until the game was over. It was ugly, so there is no point in talking about the score or the spread.

They ended hot, but it wasn’t the close win over Clemson alone that gave them that ranking. It was the addition of the beat down of TN that did it. They are currently the highest ranked 4-loss team. If TN beats them, SC remains unranked, regardless of what they do with Clemson. Regardless, they are still a 4-loss team. Not exactly a quality loss, and it was a massacre.

I understand what a 25 point loss at home to an unranked 6-4 team means.

I think they are legitimately mad about how badly they lost to South Carolina.

The rest is just shrapnel anger.
