Don't you know these "hotshots" that Cal recruits to UK almost all have agents that demand they don't pass the ball? They want individual stats to pad the NBA resume...sad. One and done...WTG Calipari.

He must've really loved those two NIT team after Horford and Co. then.

Dude...no. Donovan won with solid talent he could keep on campus long enough to develop as a team. His current team is actually not that talented, but he is a top 3 coach in America.

Yes he did. He loved and developed Chandler Parsons, and I think he is doing pretty well.

My post went over your head. All the coaches at big programs are going for these guys. The thing is they can't get them like Cal can.

We recruited Dakari as well. I'm sure we would've taken the Harrisons and Young had they been interested.

That's not the point, though.

Cal has always said he'll take talent over experience, and he's built his recruiting strategy around that belief. UK's taken a few four-year players over the past few classes so it looks like he's adapting.

I've enjoyed three EE in a row, and watching our players play like a team. Watching them develop is priceless. Give me a Patric Young over any Bradley Beal. And I love Bradley Beal.

Belle, enjoy your #1 preseason team dominance. Cal is the best isn't he?

Well I've seen an Elite Eight, a Final Four, and a National Championship. You can have your Elite Eights and tennis lessons.

It's easy to do when looking at all those banners.

They lost their best player that year. Not many teams could imagine having much success losing a guy like Noel.

He was the most dominate defensive player in the country. You don't just plug a guy in and expect to be that good, especially considering the depth they had.

And she conveniently forgets theirs apparently.

But this is the same girl who said Anthony Davis wouldn't even be the best big man in the SEC.

Belle, we will take our three straight Elite 8s and be content that our coach wont put up with players agents breathing down his back at every turn and would sit a hotshot down if he didn't learn to play as a team...don't you know we have a frosh now who is riding the pine learning the Donovan way? That's why Donovan is the best.

Cal has only missed the elite eight twice in the last 8 seasons.

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing in college b-ball. When you have a team full of high potential players with designs on going to the league in a year, you get a bunch of folks just looking out for themselves with no interest in developing their skills. Can't win a championship like that, no matter how many 5* athletes you have.

So you wouldn't trade that National Championship or Final Four for two Elite Eights either?

He's also had two Final Fours vacated at two different schools.

All 5 stars don't come into the program not needing coaching. They are still raw. All do not improve at the same pace. Coach Cal will be all right.

Oh and Kansas has more one and done guys this year, but everyone seems to have them slotted as a Final Four team

Duke will have 3 next year, but it is Coach K so everyone will give him a pass.
