Thanks and I see what happened. I use D1 Baseball website for scores and part of the page didn’t load. They musta had a website issue. It still says “No information is available for this page.” but it’s working now.

Let’s see if that holds up. But I do know we play them every year and they will show up big and throw every wrinkle vs an SEC team.
ETA: Lsu baseball is king in Louisiana so anytime you play them or ULL or Tulane etc you gonna get their best shot.

It’s not only that but LSU just came off a slug fest vs Ole Miss. They don’t have the pitching for this game. And even if they had a couple arms, they are not going to waste them on this garbage.

That was a solid win. Miss State has wrecked Louisville seasons in so many sports in recent years that I know they hate our guts. The football one was not what I mean or putting them out in the womens hoops Elite 8? It was that solid baseball team they had a few years back when we won the super vs them.
Can’t remember what year but they were really good. They must have Miss State voodoo dolls now that they poke needles in.

We’ve never played them in a super.
We faced them in Omaha in 2007 and got blasted.
We beat national seed Virginia in 2013

Vandy plays Louisville every year. The Cardinals play like an SEC team. They are hard to beat and our rival with them has gotten heated over the years.

I must be thinking of another ACC team then. Clemson? Pretty sure we beat them in a super as well as FSU. Could be wrong.

We beat FSU on the road in the regionals in 2007 then came home and beat Clemson in the super.
And obviously we beat Florida state again in their own regional last season in the elimination game.
