Arch Manning vs Julian Sayin

One went to NYC to the heisman ceremony and the other stayed in New Orleans.
One had a conservative rookie start on week 1 while the other saw the same team a second time and still shvt the bed.
One barely lost to an undefeated national championship team and a runner up that was built to beat his team while the other got humiliated by Florida and Georgia.
Why is Arch better again? Please help me understand this narrative.

You're mad because media pumps Manning up? It is the nature of the beast. Texas (and OSU and about 6 other teams) have the largest of followers so it makes sense to hype their team up and sell ads.
Sayin has been far more successful to this point, but he's also been on better teams than Manning has. I am excited for the game Saturday win or lose.

I agree with your post. The media hypes elite programs. I myself think Arch is a good QB but nothing but a title will satisfy the public.

The Mannings, as an entire family unit, are extremely talented, funny, charitable, and just overall likeable. Archie Manning may go down as one of the greatest fathers in human history

Never said he was but he's a hell of a lot better than he's shown.
The problem isn't Arch and it wasn't Quinn and it won't be the next guy. There is, however, a common denominator but the brainwashed horn fans have a mini-stroke if you point it out.

I'm not even sure I would define him as "good" yet.
Arch makes a lot of bad decisions, many of which he gets away with due to being inaccurate. e.g. his 2nd TD pass to Coleman should have been an int, he never saw the safety lurking over the middle and got lucky by throwing it high/outside the safeties reach(and no, Arch doesn't have the accuracy to fit balls in that window intentionally)

Arch should have played for Kiffin. That's not a knock-on Sark but just my opinion.

I love how yall can’t understand that Arch is handicapping your team. If he plays like shite, the press rewards him with attention. Sark is forced to revolve the team around him regardless.

ok not trying to flame I want to ask a serious question. Quinn had a lot of the same issues. He never really developed into the QB he was supposed to be.
At what point do we lay the blame at his coach who is supposedly a "QB Guru"? Serious question. Everyone wants to blame the QB but why do so many in our fan base want to give sark a pass? Arch has been in Sark's system for 4 years now and, at times, still plays like he's a true freshman. What am I missing here?
I'm sure this won't be well received but I'm genuinely curious why Sark gets a pass on this.

I don't think it's necessarily a matter of coaching with Arch, the generational QB talent was never there to begin. Elite build and a good athlete, but the arm talent is missing and his coordination/footwork has always been clumsy. Quinn had the talent but never fully developed it, Arch simply doesn't have it imo
I really don't know what scouts are watching when they talk about him going #1 overall. Go watch Mensah, Maiava or even Hoover throw the ball. It's night and day
