Overrated as hell. Rickie Collins is the best QB in Louisiana.

scrimmage and they played a much bigger school

Isidore Newman is ~1055 kids k-12

They played Holy Cross who is ~995 k-12, no?

He will be another Aggie bust and nobody cares what he’s doing in high school once they make Kyle field home it’s like the curse of death.

Just ask the empty trophy case

His tight end is also a Texas commit.

He has a couple other receivers who are collegiate level players.

They were playing against a bigger school which finished last in its division last year.

Yes
Newman will have one or two collegiate players

But the rest of the team is not mediocre, but shite that wouldn’t make the 8th grade team at Catholic schools in the city.

Make no mistake….

I think he is ridiculously overrated

But we will find out soon enough.

And frick texas

Newman is co-ed. Holy Cross is all boys.

I don’t really need to guess that you know very little about LHSAA football and that you didn’t watch the scrimmage (it’s on line).

You armchair recruiting gurus who know more about Manning’s potential than Sark, Saban, et Al. are out in force today… from schools that were rejected. Pitiful.

I’ll point out that neither Payton or Eli won a State title at Newman…don’t think they ever got to the finals.

Keep in mind that in Louisiana, John Curtis is technically 2A. Oh…and 2A schools often have powerhouse athletes…Chad Jones was 2A got beat by Country Day. Twenty some years ago, 1A Kentwood would have beaten all but 5-6 teams in the State.

Regardless. The difference isn't a significant advantage given the similar demographics of the schools male populations.

Point was that they weren't the 1A private school playing the 6A power house.

#1 player in the country, playing the most important position in football manages more than a TD vs similar competition.

You just revealed to everyone you have no idea about LHSAA athletics, Catholic League schools,in a State that has 25 percent of prep students in private and religious schools, recruiting, school focus, etc.

John Curtis (I think Homewood fans remember that school) has fewer students than either all-male Holy Cross playing in the Catholic League, or Newman. Curtis probably has 1/3 the number of high school male students … no one with any knowledge about LHSAA football would start blathering about student body numbers when talking about Curtis.

Alabama and most other States are radically different in high school sports than Louisiana. So. Temper your opinions by acknowledging you ignorance.

Because it's just not fair that he is the #1 player, it's really upsetting to grown men everywhere. So we are going to shite on this 17 year old as much as possible so we can feel better about our subjective recruiting ranking.

High school production and results simply do not matter. Sorry.

He is getting money as a “17 year old”. Arch and the haters can eat a big ol dick about my criticism.

I’ll say it for about the thousandth time
He is not going to put a team on his back and win games
He will be a good complementary player
Think McElroy or McCarron
He better have a team around him that can function and we will see if sark can deliver that

He’s an immediate impact player rated higher than those that will be around him though…
