This is plausable considering the statements made by Urban Mayer recently about the filth of SEC recruiting. He had an inside track on all of this, considering he is very close to Mullen and Mullen confided in him. Mayer stated that it has all come down to the schools playing them and hoping they don't get found out , but if they do, oh well, we will deal with that if and when it comes.

LOL do you know how stupid this sounds. Who cares if you talked to a former MSU QB. Do you really think every former player of a school is tied into what is happening? Which station did he say that... He has change his story... First it was he thought Cam knew(Friday), then the tapes show Cam knew (Monday), now the tapes do not show..

He said it on a radio show with Cole Cublic at 9:15a.m. this morning. I tried to post that info. earlier but it was zapped within 5 seconds. Apparently only rumors about Auburn cheating fly around here.

There are enough Cecil & Cam Newton cheated threads to, but that apparently isn't a problem. There was a whole fantasy thread about how all of AU's players are millionaires and paid through illegal bingo/slot machines or whatever they dreamed up in there for 300 pages but that isn't an issue either.
However, new info. that was said on the air about an hour ago about the guy who has been saying for a week now that he can prove Cam Newton knew Cecil was shopping is now recanting his story can't stay up for 5 secs.

He was on 680 am in Atlanta(Chuck and Chernoff show) yesterday afternoon and at the beginning of the "interview," he said he still plans on airing the tapes in the two week time frame, and by the end he was saying he has only heard bits and pieces of the tapes and he'll do what he can to get them on the air. He went off topic several times just to bash Auburn, so it's obvious at this point that the guy just wants Auburn to get dragged through the mud any way he can.
The two guys on the show said they thought he was full of it and made fun of him for about 5 minutes after he was off the air. take it fwiw.
