I am sorry, but Moore is a idiot. He has been on this campaign to take the Championship away from Auburn since the Cam deal started. He is a known liar and has spent time in jail on felony charges, so until he produces the tapes , I will laugh at anyone who beleives him.
You are confusing Moore with Scott McKinney, who was convicted of defrauding investors (one of whom was his biggest AU sponsor) in his sports talk show here in NW FL. Moore was a frequent guest on McKinney's program, and may have some legit inside connections at Bama - he was still telling everyone that Saban would be the next HC even as Rich Rod was allegedly signing a contract.
That said, he's never had any credibility involving any other schools, so take his latest 'revelation' FWIW.

Entertainer, icon in his own mind.
Bo Jackson talked in the third person, Cameron Newton has been advised to hold his own draft position announcement, separate from that little NFL thing going on.

Then why, when all of this started to come to light in early November, were there stories out there that when the Newtons left Starkville after the Egg Bowl people were calling Bond/Bell/whoever wanting to know if they were going to do this?
My favorite part of this whole thing is the Auburn folks' selective belief of internet stories. Aub fans are very quick to dismiss anything that is reported on blogs and/or message boards that points to Newton's or Aub's guilt as silly, baseless rumors that only an idiot would believe. However, when they need to drag MSU through the mud, then those internet/blog/message board rumors suddenly have a great deal of credibility.
Ahhhh, the neverending entertainment of SEC Football Offseason in the Age of the Blogosphere.

I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility that someone within the NCAA told AU the week of the UGA that there could be a problem with Cam's eligibility and it might be best to sit him until AU's investigation was complete. I even got a text from an AU friend the Friday before the UGA game that Cam was sitting the next day. Not a legit source, but he says he was told that by someone within the athletic department.
Clearly AU believed they had a strong case to ignore that recommendation, and their investigation confirmed that.
I'm still of the belief that the ineligibility and subsequent reinstatement was a dog and pony show orchestrated by the SEC to keep the SECCG legitimate. The timing was just too convenient.

damn this is getting old.
FACT - there is no rule against asking for money, there are only rules against offering money to a player, OR the player (or his representative) actually receiving money.
Yes it's shady to ask a school for money, but it isn't against the rules; and until such time as it is made against the rules, that is the end of that.
Furthermore, Cam asking for money from MSU reflects on Auburn exactly how?
I believe someone paid the kid to go to Auburn, but all this bullshite about what happened with MSU is not proof in any way of that.

If they have proof that Cam knew..
it changes everything..
I wonder what these tapes would go for on Ebay?

I wish that guy would quit talking about people "comming out." I don't care what the context is.

There is going to be some major crow eating by a lot of good Auburn fans in this thread.

Aubies: Get over it, Cam and we did nothing wrong
Everyone Else: Aubie is going down someday

thats pretty much it in a nutshell - although I just insulted the OP - so myself and Midnite kinda fell outside the AU poster description you made.

Coonass: NCAA has had tapes proving Cam knew of daddy's plan since the UGA game.
Everyone else: That makes no sense whatsoever you complete dumbass.
Coonass: Uh...uh. NCAA ignored their own info and the tapes and reinstated Cam based on the info AU said was true. NCAA has separate committees that don't share this kind of info.
Everyone else: You are a complete dumbass.

we didnt offer any money- the tapes prove that. Cecil clearly says what Tenn and Auburn are offering
Like I said at the beginning of this ordeal, I don't doubt at all that Cecil claimed these 2 schools were offering money. I know he told State that UT was offering. However, they are all very likely lies to try to convince State to match an offer. I don't think most people realize just how scummy Cecil was in this whole process.
