Are you retarded? Alabama won both the AP Trophy and the UPI Trophy in 64. It was unanimous.
Both given before they lost. Arkansas is the national champion that season.

2. Ohio State????
2 titles in the last 50+ years means second greatest team ever?
Yes, but since the CFB playoff era they always seem to be in the semifinal or final game and they do have 8 national titles to their credit. I also believe the have only had one losing season (4-6) in at least the last 70 years. That is impressive.

Miami has NO history prior to the 1980s.
Yeah but they dominated in the same decade that Penn State claims their two titles AND they have 3 more titles than Penn State. Penn State hasn't won a title since the early 80s. Miami has at least won one (and very nearly two) this century. I get that it's all-time list but if you had to be part of the greatest generation to see the games, does it really count?

Notre Dame and Nebraska should not be top 10 this century.
Also Auburn should be ahead of FSU

Your right. But it appears you don’t know how the rankings and the polls worked back then, so let me explain it to you.
Back then the bowls really wasn’t that important in the grand scheme of things. The final poll came after the last regular season games and before the bowls were even announced.
So it is true that the Vols went 10-0 and did not give up a point in the regular season, and yet finished #2 in the final poll after being national champions the year before.
Jesus, I just pointed out that UT team lost to USCw 14-0. I was not talking about the NC (which in my opinion UT deserved.)

You inbred idiots still claim it. "We gots eightyteen nashnul champships...duh huh...ROW TIED!"
I was not talking about the NC, but since you want to, Alabama has won at least 1 NC every decade since 1920, except the 50's and 80's. Most of the time, they won 2 or more.
and OWN UTennessee.

So you claim 1941.

You aren't winning shite without Stetson and Monken.
UGA will be like 2019 LSU only a not as bad version because Kirby is a good coach overall actually. But that doesn't change the fact that he caught lightning in a bottle.
