AU, UF, and UNC all had more votes than us. Crazy, did anyone watch football last season. And USC has only improved in the offseason.
With that being said, Arky is way too low. Michigan, OU, and Clemson are too high. The rest I can live with.

Why is USC up there?
Wake Forest still missing their QB ?

Do we think Ohio state will destroy ND?

Lol nice one, realistically A&M hasn't done anything to deserve a #6 ranking. Rest of the league still fricked tho.

What did Miami do in the offseason to go from 7-5 last year to preseason #16, especially with a first year coach?

It is weird to not see LSU, Florids and Auburn there. But that is the ebb and flow of college football. Every major program will have a down time.
I think you will see all 3 return their usual spots in the next couple seasons.

There have actually been only 5 teams to win the #1 AP national championship after being picked #1 preseason.
OU - picked 10x; won 4 (85, 75, 74, 56)
Bama - picked 8x; won 2 (2017, 1978)
Florida St. picked 6x; won 2 (1999, 1993)
USC - picked 7x; won 1 (2004)
Mich. St. - picked 1x; won 1 (1952)
LSU has only been picked #1 once in the preseason AP poll (1959); they finished #3, after losing to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl 21-0.

Man what a highway robbery that was. Tennessee beat us by scoring a lone TD. The player himself admits he never got in the end zone. If LSU wins that game, they repeat. (Polls came out before the bowls back then.)

Unranked Texas is HILARIOUS. Finally.

LOL at Ryan Pritt. He has donghorns at #10 and chokelahoma at #16. John Clay has 'sip ahead of blowU as well. Nobody in there right mind would make that comparison.
Not much love for LoSerU and BK either. It may take a couple of years but they will be back in the polls soon.
Also surprised to see Okie lite in the top 10 by quite a few of the writers

I think Ole Miss deserves to be in the preseason top 25 but I’m surprised that it wasn’t Tennessee in that spot. Arkansas getting more of the respect they probably deserve in this poll than the last.
We play Pitt early. If we're any good we have a chance to leap frog a lot of teams early.
It's not surprising though seeing how the polls were coming out. National analysts that follow closely had us in and often pretty high. A lot of regional voters that only really follow more local stuff didn't.

This baw is pissed that both of his teams are simply receiving votes.
