Yeah, laughing is the same as pissed. Someone in this thread is obviously pissed, but it isn’t me. It’s just sports, baw…simmer down.

It’s been a great day and this Lions game is fantastic so far, but they won’t lay down. Have to win it.

Winless Notre Dame...this is why these polls are a joke

I do just want to point out that, officially, Alabama lost on the road to a top 10 team and got knocked down to 23 last week. Notre Dame does the same thing and remains in the top 10, while Clemson loses at home to a top 10 team and is still #12.

I don't know why people pay attention to polls at this point, especially with 12 teams in. It'll all shake out and rankings don't even matter because of all the tie ins

The anti-MSU national bias rears its ugly head once again. Probably due to our Christian values.

So, using the actual AP rankings to respond to you is crow. Who knew?

It will get better. I promise.

Your posting? I hope so, because you’ve reached Chex levels of backtracking and deflecting since your “tissue post.” I didn’t have that on my bingo card for today…

I promise I will not post facts to you anymore. I will readily admit I did not know how much they hurt you. My apologies.

Packers are only up by 11 in the third. But I am confident they will close this out with the W. That should cheer you up.

I got it. You cannot handle facts. It is okay. We understand.

More deflection. I thought the military taught people to own their takes and to back up their trash talk. Sad

Since you like “facts” so much (including week 2 rankings…smh), how about these 2 facts:

1) when was the last time LSU finished ranked higher then Bama in the final AP poll?

2) when was the last time BK finished ranked in the top 10 while coaching in a P4 conference?

Did not like or dislike our week two rankings. They are meaningless to me (and to everyone else as well). Just part of the CFB media creating interest in their product (e.g. their job). And the rankings are a fact for a moment in time (in this instance, week two). Have no idea where we are going to be ranked at the end of the season. We have a lot of glaring holes with our offensive game plan right now that I am very concerned about. Some I think we can resolve. Some I am concerned we cannot.

My focus right now is on Ole Miss. That will truly tell us if we have a chance to make a CFP run. Hostile environment. Bitter rival. It will show who we are (or are not).

Florida will not be a pushover but they are struggling right now and we are playing in Baton Rouge. Will not be a blowout (despite what odds makers are saying). We simply do not have the consistent offensive production right now (primarily because of poor offensive line play). It will be (in my opinion) a 10-3 or 13-3 LSU win or possibly a 7-3 UF win. Will find out on Saturday.

In regards to Alabama football has been historically quite good. No surprise there. As Forrest Gump so succinctly stated “That’s all I got to say about that.”

Granted, that is a lot of words. My hope is that those facts (and a few of my opinions) are acceptable to you. I do not want to further upset you.

Packers are still leading by 11 in the 4th so that should give you a degree of comfort and solace.

Not anymore. Josh Jacobs with a 9th straight game with a tuddy.

Since you didn’t answer with the requested facts, I’ll help you out as we know how precious they are to you.

1) the only time LSU has made the playoffs since it has existed…2019. 5 straight years being ranked below Bama at the end. Will that change in 2025 season? Maybe, but sure would be embarrassing if that streak hits 6.

2) N/A, sort of. BK has never finished a season ranked in the top 10 while coaching in a power league unless you count 2020 ND being in the ACC (think they did get smoked BK’s one chance to actually win a power conference in that ACC Championship game). We’ll see if he can change that this year as well.

There are 10 SEC teams in the current poll…… how many of these teams does your team play?

Auburn plays 5 of these teams .

Not sure how these “facts” are pertinent to the discussion but okay. As long as you are happy then I am satisfied. Alabama is historically good. Congratulations.

Packers closed it out so you got a home win against a division opponent. Always a good thing. Have to protect homefield in the NFL (particularly in division play).

Steelers won on the road against a conference opponent so I am liking the start to our season as well.

AP polls are a waste of time

Polls matter after around 6 to 7 good games have been played.

Us at 11 is funny. Sellers can't operate when he is running for his life every play. Vandy will embarrass Beamer idiot arse next week. Hey Shane, stay with this o-line coach. LOL

We’re too high at 3. Might be a top 3 defense though.
