Texas will get in - they have a worthless Manning in their back pocket. Is it really a coincidence they are 13? That is why Sankey would suck the Texas AD’s dick for a Texas championship

I hate to break it to you but there is a very real chance Texas gets in with 3 losses.

I don’t see it. Your wins were too close. If they had three losses and destroyed teams yes. But that’s not what occurred.

You will not get in with three losses barely beating Kentucky and Vandy.

Now if you win three more games convincingly, maybe. But just winning won’t do it. You’ll need to erase the close wins.

They should be easy for the sec teams to knock out of the playoffs then. Let's see what happens.

Two B1G teams who have barely played a team with a pulse are sitting at the top. What a surprise.

Their schedules aside. They are playing them at an elite level beyond tOSU week 1 with a 1st year starter.

Personally, IU has been much more dominant and deserve #1. I'd say Aggie at #2 due to SoS and SoR. The Buckeyes have the highest ceiling, but I think it fair they are at 3 based on performance to date compared to IU and Aggie.

7 of State's 8 SEC opponents are in the top 25.

No one is saying OSU doesn't have a good team. We all think you don't have to earn shite in the regular season. While we're all beating the hell out of each other in tight ball games and causing injury, OSU has their starters pulled in the second half. Big difference.

BYU and TTU play Sat. Probably the biggest game of the season in the Big12. But possibly just the first time those two teams will meet.

Not nearly as fun as coaches getting whacked left and right.

Harder schedule
some truth to this. Oklahoma has to play Texas while Texas gets to pad their stats against Oklahoma

ACC has two one loss schools that 5-4 NCState beat (though the UVA game was non conference).

After Texas Tech and BYU play, Texas will bump up to #12. If not higher based on additional outcomes.

Is this Ohio State team as good as last year's? Could they make a deep run in the playoff? They look more vulnerable this year IMO, even with a better record

OU ranked two spots ahead of Texas, and OU was not even in the game when they played Texas. Hilarious.

Yeah, it must be nice to play a Big 10 schedule. I hope the CFP committee really does consider SOS more, especially with our new 9 game SEC schedule plus a major NC game, which is going to be brutal for us while they play one or two ranked teams per year. And it's not just wins and losses, SEC teams are beat to crap by the end of the year. Ohio State and Indiana will be fresh as daisies.

Nobody is forcing SEC teams to beat the hell outta each other. The Big Ten seems aware of its pecking order.
