That is your response? Jesus H..

She was the loved one of people. She has a son who will not grow up with his Mom. You are just another worthless gump POS defending one of your athletes no matter what he does.

I mean people are calling for the FBI to investigate. Once they show up, does everyone cross their fingers that they won't immediately go to the tapes, just so Miller can hammer Auburn by 30 in a week?

and there you have it. a true card carrying gump, ladies and gents.

You do understand that law enforcement officers and the district attorney have said there is nothing to charge him with? What do you think they're basing that on?

Neither the police, the DA, Miller’s attorney, or the University have confirmed whether Miller read the message prior to delivering the gun.

So to your question, without an answer this most pivotal question, we can only speculate on what they’re basing their decision on and whether such decision is sound.

That's not what I asked. I asked a question directly in relation to the hyperbole of your statement.

You have no logical argument for anything you're saying, and aren't interested in discussing anything.

You're just doing this because you hate Alabama.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I'll be happy to have a rational discussion if you'd like. No one here really seems to want to.

I don't know all the answers either, and I'm not covering for anyone. But you and a few other posters are simply ignoring what we do know.

Most of them are trolling. For some reason I think you actually believe it.

Charge him for what? Stupidity?

Hell, half the people in this country would be serving life sentences if that was against the law.

It's amazing how they all of a sudden are die hard main stream news fans and Clay Travis fans and super concerned about certain demographics.

Honestly, there's no way to know for sure. They can determine whether he opened the text, but how many times has someone sent you a text, it pops up on your screen and you read it without opening it right away, particularly when driving?

I never met her. I do have sympathy for anybody who is senselessly murdered.

I don't know a soul who lost their lives in the earthquake in Turkey. My thoughts and prayers go out to their loved ones.

like hell I don't. Your "logic" for defending this is he plays for bama.

You don't have the ability. You are blinded by your fandom. Again, let this happen at Auburn or LSU........and I would bet my last dollar your stance on this situation would be much different.

Exactly, and this is why Miller should be suspended during the investigation. He was involved in some way and we still don’t know everything.

As has been said ad nauseam, it appears that the DA office does not have the evidence to meet the intent requirement of any crime. If they can’t satisfy the required elements of the crime, then they have no reason to charge the person.

That’s how the law works, like it or not. Even if you or I think his actions were wrong, according to the law no crime has been committed based on current evidence.

This actually isn't how it works, but it's how a lot of people who don't interact with the criminal justice think it does. It's really how it should, but it doesn't.

What they really do is charge high, sometimes on sketchy evidence, and then expect people to plead low because the risk of what happens if you're convicted is way too much for people to take.

When faced with rich or notable potential defendants, prosecutors suddenly get a lot more conservative about charging decisions.
