The fact is that A&M being unranked is more of an insult to the SEC than it is to A&M.

You haven’t played the other two ranked teams yet and you only have to play them once. A&M has had a really easy conference schedule this year. Add to that your atrocious non-con results and that’s why you’re just now getting ranked at #25.

Yep and they have no other losses close to that so I'm not understanding where you got 4 from

There next closest loss is Colorado in the Q2, Colorado would have to drop 40 spots to even be a Q3.

And both games at home. Easy schedule for sure.

I agree with this. We don’t need their popularity points. So I’m fine with the “don’t rank us” underdog motto. Especially considering A&M was projected a 9 seed even when they were unranked.

As we have seen, rankings have no correlation to tournament seeding.

And if they want to get off that 8/9 line, then they need to just keep winning games. Simple as that.

True, I think A&M probably ends up as a 7 seed. They still have more wins on the schedule with chances to get some big ones.

We’re likely not going to go far.
But it’s fun.

Ya never know, Frank Martin took South Carolina to the final four as a 7 seed. Buzz is a good coach, I could see y’all making a run.

Probably would have made a run last year if the committee gave you a chance, I know that feeling. We had a good team in 2014 that swept Kentucky and we didn’t get in, then Kentucky went all the way to the championship as an 8 seed while we were in the NIT.

i dont know, buzzs teams usually do well in the tourney. that style of play carries over very well in the postseason.

They’re either making a layup or getting fouled, or both. It’s a good system for the tourney for sure if they make free throws.

Haha I’m still bitter about it, when we beat them the second time we were supposed to be a lock but we lost to South Carolina in the SEC tournament and that was the dagger.

And now the committee seemingly doesn’t even consider the conference tournaments, like A&M last year.

“The Committee” sucks.

Y’all were money.
It’s all about money.
Sucks.
