Agree with both. IMO even if Ole Miss wins by 10 it still won't make it over the 53..

Something like 27>17....

I imagine Ole Miss was favored in all past 8 games. I know we covered on six of those.

Vandy got royally screwed on a call at the end. I was talking to a buddy who is a SC fan last night and he agreed

Last year, the refs admitted they marked the ball wrong giving Vandy a first down when they went for it on 4th late in the 4th. They get that call right, that they admit they made wrong, then OM wins last year and this thread doesnt exist.

Yeah but the spread was probably a lot more than -3, "like in the double digit range."

Yup Vandy covered 6 of the last 8. Ole Miss has been favored in each of the last 5 games and Vandy has won 4 of those 5 outright.

Vandy won in Oxford last year without that RB, who got injured on the 3rd play of the game.

And y'all had something like 90 rushing yards total that game. Tate goes out, and y'all leaned hard on your defense and quarterback. It paid off.

You don't have that QB to lean on anymore. It's a legit argument.

Fair enough. My response to the argument that Vandy doesn't have their QB or their RB from last year was that Vandy didn't have that RB in the game last year anyway. And it was Stacy that went out. Tate and Kimbrow will be sharing most of the carries tomorrow night.

College Football Daily said yesterday Franklin has never won a home game against an SEC team with a coach with a winning record the previous year. He's 0-4. Take that FWIW

Very true. Georgia and #10 Arkansas in 2011 and #9 USC and #4 Florida in 2012.

I wouldn't look too much into this stat. I think that this was because we were playing way above expectations.

This year I think that because the expectations have risen the lines for our games will be more on point.

I wouldn't bet on this game. If you're picking against the spread look for sure victories by the under dog or big numbers. Otherwise it's a tossup.
