OP has a point.
I dont understand how our fantastic defensive players keep giving us so many yards and scores. Our highest ranked recruits still tend to be defensive.

I really don't care for what football has become. The offenses have a huge advantage.

we do have a damn good defense. it just depends on the type of offense we play. you'll see if we play UGA. last year we basically shut their arse down.
defenses can't shut down a well run spread the whole game. QB gets rid of the ball too fast to sack and the front 7's just down have as many guys playing the run cause they have to cover downfield so often

I loved that game even though Bama lost. I do not enjoy this brand of CFB nearly as much.

Both coaches froze up in that game with the play calling. Each one was more focused on the offense not losing the game rather than the offense winning the game. Saban adjusted in the later years, hence the streak.
