Agreed, he was a great coach twice at KSU and it is hard to recruit for that area. But some do think it is time for a change and not his son as heir apparent ( special teams coach)

The atmosphere was pretty good when we went there. Needless to say, not many AU fans actually made the game. Talk about a long distance. Still liked the game though.

there's not as much support in Manhattan KS for Bill Snyder as most might think

He's trying to shove his son getting the HC job down their throats.

It ain't happening, and creating warring factions is not good for winning football games

I don't care who it's against. 364/109 and 7 TDs is damn impressive. Has Fitzgerald ever even sniffed 300 passing yards in a game before?

Fitz tied a Mississippi State record with seven total touchdowns and led the Bulldogs to a 56-41 win over Samford. Fitzgerald was 20 of 35 for 417 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two more touchdowns.

Bill Snyder is old but he still can coach and his players will respond for him. If I were a low 4* player I'd play for him.

You would be the only 4* on the team

The day Snyder retires is the day K State goes back to cellar dweller. In the meantime, highly doubtful Miss State blows them out.

Damn. Ok. Carry on, then.

They just always seemed slightly one dimensional with him and I got excited over KT's stat line.

I feel like MSU is easily the better team and should win.

I guess the line is so low because it's @ Kansas State and Snyder has an insanely good record there, especially vs ranked teams.

I get all of that, but this is the best team State has had in awhile.

There's a reason why Mullen was reluctant to leave. It took the Florida job to get him to do so.

Maybe the rest of the world doesn't think MSU is as good as this board seems to???

Actually I think Kansas State beats MSUjr

MSUjr's DL is what makes this interesting. They could cause enough trouble to let MSUjr sneak out of Manhattan with a W, but if that group wasn't such a matchup advantage for MSUjr then there would be no question that Snyder would out couch the n00b for the win.

The public is all over State and this line has dropped from -9.5 to -7. I wouldn't want anything to do with this game from a betting standpoint

I think Mississippi State will win, but it’s hard to beat Kansas State in their own place.

2014 Auburn was fat more talented than 2014 KSU, but they kept it close and almost won the thing.

Should be a good game.

If the public was all over State then the line would be going in the other direction genius. If ppl are laying more money on state then the line would be rising making it more difficult for new state betters to collect.

State at -7 is a much lower risk than State at -9.5. State only has to win by a TD to push while at -7 where as we hafta win by 10 to collect at -9.5.

When the line rises the bookmaker is trying to induce the public to lay down money on KSU to even out the bets ensuring they make money either way.

Well K St did beat So. Dakota St last week by 3 and lost to Vandy last year. But Snyder gets better with age right?

The public generalizes the percentage of bets, dipshit. Meaning some serious sharp money is coming in on the Wildcats. According to SportsInsights, 65% of the tickets are backing Miss State.
