Anyone else hear this about Alabama's preparation for Vandy?

I have a couple of friends who are long time Alabama season ticket holders and they said they are hearing DeBoer allowed the players more time off than usual as a reward for beating Georgia.
Anyone else hear anything?

Yes they never practiced for Vandy, started prep for Auburn early.

It's fairly obvious they got complacent and used this week to prep ahead.
Saban didn't let that happen. He stopped losing those games a LONG time ago.

Someone once mentioned to Coach Stallings that Vanderbilt was not a “big game”. He said, “if you don’t think it’s a big game, try losing it”. Truer words were never spoken. He knew what it meant too, after starting 0-3, including a loss to Southern Miss.

As a rabid young college football fan I remember reading about that shocking loss in that Sunday's St Louis Post- Dispatch.
Southern Mississippi had a kid at qb named Brett Farve.
