Anyone else expecting Kentucky to implode against LSU?

Statistically we're much more equal on paper than the Ws and Ls would imply. Something tells me our guys go out, play sloppy, get our shite stuffed, then we hear all year about how overrated Florida was for losing to a team that got their teeth knocked in by an LSU team with an identity crisis.

Love our team, but maaaaaaaaan... After all these decades of being a cats fan, I feel the shoe is about to drop

Kentucky is at a critical Nexus. Do they want to keep ascending, or will they drop a game when momentum is riding high

I'm really hoping not. I really like how Kentucky has built up the program under Stoops. Kicking LSU's @ss is the next step in an amazing evolution in Kentucky football.

I hope.

All you really have to do is play some good pass defense and you should win.

God knows Georgia could use some quality wins on that pansy schedule

The thing is - lets be honest - Kentucky stole that game against Florida. And I am so glad they did. But they did. They won that game in the most Kentucky fashion.

LSU is more talented than Florida. If Kentucky loses - it may not be an implosion. They may just play well, yet lose, to a team that's just that much better.

This game is going to be nuts.

This is huge statement game for Kentucky.
Not because LSU is good and this would be a signature win.

This game is huge precisely because LSU is down and UK is coming off a huge win vs Florida.

UK wants to be taken seriously, prove you can handle success and don’t have a let down bs a BAD LSU team.

Unless you guys just completely shite the bed, you should beat us easily.

I think UK is going to have a letdown, which probably means we only score 14 points, and lose to O which stands are owful coach.

Implode? No.

But I do think LSU wins.

And doesn't win again until the ULM game.

This is not a typical LSU team. Everything in your post is dead wrong.

Oh, I get it. I'm I huge Stoops fan and all in on the guy. We don't always win pretty, but nobody expect us to be a 2-3 win program anymore either. I just feel like things tend to start out strong for us then we fizzle and I just don't know if our offense is consistent enough to do it.

LSU sucks at running the ball, but that's a bad thing for us because run defense is our bread and butter. Our secondary is pretty "meh" and we just simply do not have the same quality of corners that we used to. Our sacks per game rates us towards the bottom of the conference at just 1.8/game and our oppenents have pretty high pass completion rates against us. We play too many opponents close and that shows lack of discipline, which could definitely be a problem given the emotional win against Florida.
