The deep ball was there when LSU played Georgia, Fromm just never pulled the trigger.

Tua will have a huge day passing on them

Absolutely

My take, your speed will be a factor IF we let Tua sit back there and feel comfortable.

Aranda will need to confuse the young QB some too.

On LSU side, we need Joe to be on his game and protect him.

Feleipe Franks beat LSU. Honestly, how does LSU stand a chance in this game?

Feleipe and the vaunted Gator offense ran for 215 yards on 41 carries, averaging 5.24 yards per carry. This was accomplished with nearly zero threat of a passing attack as Franks went 12/27 (44%) for 161, with 1 TD and 1 int.

This is no Florida LSU will be playing next Saturday.

The only weekness I've seen on Alabama's team is the left guard position and kicker. If there is an Achilles heel on this Bama team its Offensive guard. Look complete otherwise....beatable but complete.
we made a change at left guard last week to deonte brown. Bulovas had not actually been that bad. Is 8 for 12 of fg, pretty much all the misses were long tries. We also switched punters, and that went pretty good last week

no they haven't. Saban said it was a knee sprain. If some morons had not perpetuated the knee scope rumor there would not be so much fretting about the knee. He was much more comfortable looking in the Tennessee game, and he's going to have had 2 full weeks to let it get better. I expect he will be close to 100%

Looked like he re-aggravated it in the Tenn game. Think it was on his last play, took a hit and limped off.

The bottom line is LSU's best defense will be their offense. Their best bet at winning next Saturday will be 7 and 8 minute drives. I know it doesn't take Bama long to score, but your odds are better when you have the football and Bama doesn't. The more minutes Tua spends standing around on the sidelines, the better off LSU will be.

Then we turned around and stuffed UGA's shite. I mean, I think its safe to say UGA is better top to bottom than UF with regards to talent.

Just like to reiterate, damn good thread. Almost 7 full pages and 97% serious football talk.

Great stuff.

Look, I lead the nation in throwing penalty flags on Boz. But, listening to the rehearsed answers about the injury, I'm not sold it was as simple as Saban and Tua state. Maybe it was, and they were just downplaying it so Tennessee wouldn't key in on it. But, I also wouldn't be surprised if he has some sort of minor injury that is going to require surgery after the season.

Alabama is far superior to Georgia offensively in every way. From personnel to scheme, there is no comparison.

I have zero confidence if this game comes down to kicking or punting. The punter and fg kicker have been shaky at best so far this year and not one kick or punt has come in a pressure situation. Down by 2 with 3 seconds to go and the ball in the middle of the field at the 25 yard line, I'd bet the house against Bulovas making the fg

I don't know. I think Bulovas has been solid since he replaced whatever the other guy's name was. I mean, he's missed some, but they at least looked like they were kicked by a kicker.

Can you stay on topic? I compared UGA to UF when the Bama poster boasted about UF running for 200+...

I mean, Arkansas St rushed for 173 On bama

A&M 130

UL 200

Ark 172

Lets not act like Bama's D has been lights out here. In fact, its probably Bama's worst in the past 5 years. Young secondary and IMO, lacking LB depth.
