I know he is dying to get out of Oxford and I can’t see how long Aggies will keep putting up with Jimbo.

I don't see why every coach in the country hasn't already asked their agent to contact A&M. Hell, you can get paid 100 million dollars to not even give a frick about your job there. It's the best job in the country - for getting rich and putting in minimal effort.

hell no he fits right in at ole miss... if he is doing that it is only to boost his massive ego. A&M job right now almost as bad as the nebraska job..... but not quite that bad yet

no kidding.... what a big waste of money........ maybe these student got a point about crazy student loans while a failure of a coach is on a 100 mill dollar contract only to lose games to app state and wimp out of playing wake forest in a shitty bowl game

Why? Any agent of a top 20 coach would play along if the situation wasn't completely ridiculous and get them a solid raise. I mean nobody worth a shite is going there, but that isn't the point.

No. If Kiffin can keep Ole Miss as a bowl eligible team and at least compete for a New Year’s day bowl he is golden. The worst thing he could do would be get to the playoffs and then miss them 2 years in a row. The fans will turn on him in a second. They shouldn’t, but they will.

Kiffin situation is so weird because he has already had so many monster jobs. I really can't think of where the hell he would go. Maybe A&M if Jimbo is canned? He isn't going to Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Oklahoma, or Texas anytime soon. He already had his dream job and got fired. He's been an NFL coach and I cannot see him going back to that level. I legit think that, as long as he sustains Ole Miss at an 8-10 win level, he may wait for Saban to hang it up and get the call.

Kiffin will go wherever the most money is. Guys like that know nothing of loyalty. Now don't get me wrong, he is a really good coach, but he isn't loyal to any program. I could see him jumping ship for any program from Michigan to UCLA if the money is right.

I just know Kiffin has been complaining about NIL at Ole Miss even though he does well with the transfer portal.

I don't think Kiffin would leave Ole Sis for Lincoln although I believe he was born there.

I think it would just come down to the money.

There’s been all kinds of articles about how happy he is in Oxford and how he finally feels at home just prior to the season. I am not using that as evidence he won’t though, because tbh it seemed weird like it came out of nowhere to me.

You guys are gonna have to keep upping his pay to keep him. But you should. Because he is good. And worth it, imo.

Agreed. He is exactly what we need to be able to compete with our resources. He finds ways to get creative both on and off the field. And although it’s usually meant as a slight, his personality does fit us well.

Yeah that's typically what happens in coaching
