If that's one of the trashier counties in Alabama, yes.

I've never seen someone that I didn't want to strike with a hard object that used the word "tigahs".

Why on earth does this matter. You guys act like Gm is still in highschool. He's a grown man with a grown man job.

As I said before though, I just thought it is below him to respond to a 25 year old new media member. It makes a bigger deal out of it than it actually is and in doing so has made Greg a much more relevant name right now, so from Greg's persepctive regardless of what Miles says, it's a success for him.

well hard to dismiss it that easily considering that, while he may be a new 25 year old member of the media, that member of the media just happens to be employed by a multi-billion sports entertainment company that provides him with the platform to speak to an audience of tens of millions of people. if this was a host for a small local sports talk radio station, then yeah that would be different, and i highly doubt Les would care what he said or responded to it. but we're talking about ESPN here , not to mention that ESPN has a couple hundred billion dollar deal with the conference in which Les coaches.

Well said. My only question is did GM really say that Les was still winning with Saban's players? If so, then yes he deserves criticism for a ridiculous statement.

The only GM thread I was saw on TR was him being caled a "douche" in the thread title and opening the thread and everyone being outraged that he mentioned South Carolina and Auburn instead of LSU when discussing the top offensive lines in the SEC this year.

It was a dumb comment from McElroy in the first place....I'm sure that was quite a humbling experience for him

Winning the amount of games Les has won in the SEC West during its toughest reign ever is a huge compliment to the man and his staff. This game is the hardest thing to stay consistent at and to give credit to a man that hasnt been there in 10 years made McElroy look like an idiot...he will learn

The best part of all this, is if LSU gets just an 8 win year or finishes 3rd in the SEC West. The LSU fans clamoring to Les Miles today will be the same ones lynching his arse in December.

Guess every fanbase has the same element, but I don't care, we're focused on LSU and Greg McElroy. Which brings me to my next point. Why do some of you act like Greg McElroy = Alabama right now? He's speaking as his own self. Keep your bama hatred to yourself.

The Geg v. Les synopsis

One is a national championship QB and rhodes Scholar candidate and the other eats grass and claps like a rutard.

I think Greg will be fine after Les's "I MAD " comments.

this is what McElroy said.
“If you look at LSU, they’ve had sustained success since Saban left because he established that mindset. Les Miles obviously did take over that program and has done a terrific job in his own right, but once you establish that mindset and have the leadership that holds young players accountable, that success shouldn’t soon dwindle."

think this writer out of birmingham does a really good job of calling out mcelroy LINK

exactly, retard has wasted more talent than any coach in recent history. If not for Chavis, he'd been fired years ago.

Did Les not win a National Championship? Also, McElroy is a grown up with a grown up job. He'll learn.

Saban should send Shula a Christmas card every year.

Because the statement he made was taken from him as his experience as a former Saban coached player and why Saban is so great. I think a comment made by a former player about his experience as an Alabama player under Saban is at least, in some way, him speaking for Alabama and not just for himself.
