The last show was mainly about recovering addicts in Dublin, GA. Wife stopped watching and wish I had too. Very disappointing.

I went on his Instagram page and berated him for blaming the Jackson water issue on white people and the progboi kept deleting the comments, then deleting the comments about why are you deleting comments. guy is a try hard they/them and I hope he gets food poisoning for being a lying, race baiting piece of human trash.

I like the show mostly because of the music

He’s a major douche in real life too.
Maybe he is—I don’t really know him. I will say that we were at Circle and Square before the LSU game. John T and his wife, Blair, were at the table next to us and we were all watching Auburn and UGA (he went to Georgia and she went to Auburn). They were very friendly and engaging. Blair offered to write a rec for my daughter. That’s my only experience but it was positive

I enjoy it because it’s not the typical look at backwoods these motherfrickers are show.
It lives up to its name in true south. That is miss, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky. Cornbread, pinto beans, fried squash and biscuits and gravy. The true southern drawl that the folks have, small towns like Berlin georgia, letohatchee Alabama, Maryville tn where you have 2 kinds of restaurants,… a meat and 3 or barbecue. I don’t look at Florida and Louisiana and see the “south”. Great states with their own great ways of life but not the “true” south.

They came to mobile and did some place like that in Prichard, which I am sure is good, but they have murders in that area weekly. Ain’t no white person ever going to eat there without a military escort. Even the cops will not go there.
Meanwhile so great redneck places like R&R seafood, Butch Cassidy’s, etc say WTF???
Soul food ain’t the only Southern food

I was involved in two separate lawsuits over the water issues in Jackson, and they are completely at fault for it, completely

Ironically, Hot Springs was basically owned by the New York mob in its heyday. Probably still is. So a guy from NY feeling at home there tracks.

WTH? I was born and raised there and this is news to me. Though illegal gambling was big there in the day. It brought alot of money into the economy so the shady city government welcomed them.
