Let’s just subtract Dabo’s totals and rerun the math.
Clemson is 815-482-45 all time.
Dabo is 187-53
Taking Dabo out of Clemson’s totals results in an overall record of 628-429-45 (0.569).

Clemson is never ever getting back to the level they were at with Lawrence/Watson.
They have already been usurped in the ACC and will revert back to the NC State/Louisville level this program has always been

I watched a couple of Clemson games this season and JMO the problem isn't Dabo or his staff. The problem is the talent they have recruited isn't elite. They can't make the plays on either side of the ball anymore.
The question is how they plan to upgrade their roster with better players.

Him selling Faith, Football and Fambly at Clemson with a focus on building relationships for loyalty with players doesn't work like it used to; just ask Auburn (Reverend Hugh Freeze).

Removing Dabo’s tenure, they’re 628-429-45 (.569).
No it isnt, that would be .593

My guess to your bad math is you didn’t count ties as a half game.

Sorry...I pulled the data directly from Sports-reference.com, then copied the data from every year prior to Dabo, but it into a spreadsheet, then summed and calculated from there.
The Sports-reference.com site lists Clemson as being 795-475-44 over 124 seasons while Wikipedia shows them as being 810-477-44 over 129 seasons. Apparently, Sports-Reference.com doesn't include their seasons prior to 1902 because there are different sources that have some different numbers before that time and they felt the data wasn't reliable to use as a source.
I also realized that I only included Dabo's complete seasons and didn't include his going 4-3 when he took over for Tommy Bowden in 2008.
Long story short...I stand corrected.

If that’s true, he’s probably checked out and is going to collect money and hang out with friends. Which ain’t a bad life.
