I think it's just a matter of time until the men field a team as well.

Would be cool, would also like to see TAMU take their good gymnastics (club) team up to SEC level as well.

I think all the SEC women have a soccer team, it is getting it added on the men's side that has been an uphill battle.

Admittedly I know nothing about any such move from club level to NCAA; but I have def observed that the gymnastics team at A&M is very much trying to get its name "out there."

Walking up to many other sporting events on campus (e.g., football games), it's not at all unusual to see the gymnastics team outside, performing for the crowds.

they do have one of the better club teams out there, or they did at least a few years ago.

Pretty much impossible with the Title IX crap.

In order to achieve "equality" mandated by law they had to kill off a bunch of men's sports people actually cared about and add women's sports nobody cared about.

Make it Intergender Wrasslin'.

Andy Kaufman was the king of IGW.

I would rather watch Softball, Gymnastics, Volleyball, and even Women's Basketball before Wrestling.

Wrestling is for homosexuals who like feeling up on other men.

A&M would dominate.

Arnold “Swede” Umbach introduced the sport of wrestling to the Deep South. He spent 27 years as coach at Auburn University showing his opponents what it takes to win wrestling championships.

His Tigers captured 25 team trophies in the conference he founded, the Southeastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association. They won 249 dual meets, lost just 28 and tied five. Only one of those defeats was at the hands of a conference opponent. He coached 127 conference champions and four national winners.
