Any school besides LSU have 7 or more documentaries on the SEC Storied series?

“Hold The Rope” premiers on Monday, May 24th on the SEC Network. It’s the story of Skip Bertman and LSU’s meteoric rise to the top of College baseball in the 80s and 90s. This will be the 7th documentary featuring an LSU coach or athlete, as told by SEC Storied.

The other 6 Episodes involving the Purple & Gold are:

Lolo
Shaq & Dale
The Walk Off
The Bo You Don't Know
Maravich
No Kin To Me

How many were produced on your school? Anybody else have 6, 7 or more?

I really look forward to watching Hold The Rope next week. Bertman made LSU into a blue blood program similar to Bama Football, Kentucky Basketball and Tennessee Ladies Basketball to name a few. Skip, and MSUs Ron Polk deserve all of the credit for making the SEC into the powerhouse College Baseball League that we all enjoy today.

I see your point, but do we really want to be known as the self proclaimed “king of documentaries” SEC champions?

I don’t know but Texas A&M and Bama had that trash movie The Junction Boys on ESPN a couple of decades ago. What a snooze fest. Is that why the two programs are so gay for each other?

How could anyone read my post and determine that I was bragging about being the king of documentaries? Chillax dude. It’s just a post about LSU. Everything isn’t a competition you know.

By the time the NCAA has completed their latest appointed rounds revolving around all things sports, you can almost guarantee 3 more documentaries just to cover "LSU, From Champions to Ruin."

Of course, there's famous and then there is infamous. Not that an LSU fan would notice the diff.

Bama has about 7 retroclaimed vapor titles.

They were trying to get a documentary about winning so they just went out and claimed em.

I can't wait to watch the next one about LSU funneling money from cancer patients at Children's Hospital to pay players and to cover up athletes raping women.

I don't believe SEC Storied makes Alabama fantasy films.

Let’s just say you’re not having these documentaries done if they weren’t due to a damn good time in LSU sports history. With more to come, hence 2019
