No matter. We got the prime time kick. All eyes will be on us and it will be a 5x better show than Aggie v Lizard.

• Have no tradition whatsoever
• A weak and ignorant fan base.
• Are not a coveted program and are more Big 10ish or Missouri Valleyish than they are SEC worthy. Missouri was an afterthought that the SEC settled on and they will be treated as such

Not a single one true

Lol, don't think I'm going to be butthurt that we don't get gameday when we play ULM in Little Rock. fricking yankees...
ETA: but I do agree that the Mizzou beatdown of UGA would be a better venue than watching two old people frick (A&M vs UF)...

This Arky-Mizzou rivalry is great.
You guys really hate each other, but deep down I think you love each other as well.

Nah - they're good people. Maybe a little delusional, but perhaps that's why we get along so well.

Regardless of how good each team or match-up is currently, Florida and aTm are better "brands" than Missou and UGA.

Dammit, why did you have to go and be rational just as I was getting ready to reignite the arky flaming?
BTW, Choctaw is a complete dumbass.

Yes you got the primetime kick, but it is on the #2 station. LSU got the primetime kick on the #1 station.

As already suggested, probably mainly TV market. Either location would have been good for college football fans.

Maybe we will get gameday when undefeated Bama comes to town and we are 5-1. SECCG Preview?

The A&M/Florida game is just much more compelling all the way around. This is the conclusion of 2 years of drama with A&M flirting with the SEC and now they are finally going to play. A lot of folks are excited to see how A&M does, either because they want to see them win or because they want them to get their arse kicked. The markets, the size of the school and fan bases, the traditions, and all that just pile on. The Gameday guys (esp Kirk) also have always enjoyed A&M and have raved on the atmosphere.
Mizzou/UGA is an interesting matchup but it just doesn't have the drama. Mizzou wouldn't have left the B12 and the SEC wouldn't have taken them if A&M had not made the move. The Mizzou story was a much more subdued one when it happened. Really only the folks in Missouri and to an extent Kansas have gotten riled up about it. Then you can throw in all the other variables on top.
Mizzou is a respectable program but they have gotten pushed around like this before, perhaps unfairly. For instance Mizzou had a stronger argument than A&M for deserving the Cotton Bowl bid 2 years ago but A&M got it because A&M sells tickets and gets people to watch. Mizzou also got screwed over on a BCS bid a few years back when KU got the Orange Bowl over them. I can also guarantee you there is no way a schedule would come together that has A&M traveling to Mizzou 3 years in a row. Mizzou OTOH hasn't fought it because they want the Texas exposure. Mizzou just hasn't shown the support necessary of their team to outshine A&M even though they have had the better team in recent years. That would hack me off if I were a Mizzou fan but it just is what it is.
Gameday doesn't go to the "best game", they go to the best story.

...but I expect Missouri to move light-years ahead in that department now that they are in the SEC. They will outshine every program in their general area, save Arkansas (and yes that includes B1G programs).

It's an sec opener for both teams and it seems like Georgia-Mizzou is gonna be the better game.
Do the math
Florida has about 19 million people
Georgia has about half of that
Texas has about 25 million people
Missouri has about a quarter of that
