I might be stuck there Thursday night and if so would be looking for a good place to watch the OM-SC game.

Jesus, this is like asking if there are any queers in San Fransisco. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I recommend Cooter Browns. Corner River Road and Carrollton Ave at St. Charles.
They have muffalettas better than Central Grocery, good beer, lots of TVs, and I am pretty sure they don't turn off the TV sound during the game.
Too damn many fake "sports bars" turn off the sound and leave the music blast. I HATE THAT shite.

The Ole Miss Alumni Association all gather at Ernst Cafe on S. Peter's in the middle of the Warehouse District, which is also likely closer to your hotel than any of the other bars mentioned. They go there for all Ole Miss games.

Doesn't the Alabama Alumni group meet at the Rusty Nail?

go to Cooters, Ernst or Bruno's. Cooters being the best.
do NOT go to Fox & Hound...it's a shitty chain out in the burbs with awful food and weak drinks.
Also, i would avoid Harrah's unless you want to gamble.
eta: if you are staying in the quarter you can also check out Ref's on Decatur. Cheap beer for the qtr.
