Expected to make landfall on Thursday. Which games will be affected or possibly canceled because of it?

For sure, just depends on where it ends up. LSU at Auburn may be in jeopardy. Ole Miss and MSU home games if it jogs west a bit.

Looks like NC st at Clemson, Wake at Fsu, and as you mentioned lsu at au are the big games being affected. Ewu at FL being another game that looks to be in its path.

Florida's game is a guarantee. It can be sunny with brisk wind on game day and they'll be sure to cancel a football game.

“NHC 11 PM forecast is just about where we were late last Friday w/Major Hurricane Ian just offshore of Tampa Bay on Wednesday. Preparations should be made regardless of landfall especially w/surge and eyewall winds possible near coast. Bad.”

“Much of tropical storm and hurricane tracking is "cork in a stream" until the system gets strong enough to modulate its regional pattern. So far, Ian has been going with the flow.”

Forecast from Friday:

Question: What day does LSU start publicly demanding Auburn move the game to Baton Rouge and then accusing the Auburn administration of all sorts of things when they decline that offer>

Any place east of East Alabama would be affected for sure. Hope everyone stays safe.

One thing for sure about Gulf hurricanes is that nothing is for sure.

Maybe we'll just go to eastern Washington later in the year and beat em anyway

Florida/EWU?
If it goes up the coast USCe/SCS?
If it veers to the left Auburn/LSU?

Absolutely right. They can veer off and head up the eastern coast, or veer west and hit Texas.

Yes. Don’t be a pussy about it.

Seems to be sympathetic to Auburn. A fake Bama fan.

Florida still has a promising season ahead of them so they’ll make the game happen

Auburn/LSU should cancel and move the game to the Friday before SEC championship since neither of them will make it there and it will give us 2 games that weekend

Sunrise casting shadows on rapidly intensifying Hurricane Ian

It's likely Ian will become a major hurricane in the next 24-hours w/a distinct eye.
