You just don't how to do things in Atlanta. My daughter's best friend works for CNN and got us a parking pass a 5 minute walk away from Mercedes Benz Stadium.

If you’re going to Atlanta just use MARTA it’s cheap and a lot easier compared to dealing with Atlanta traffic.

Prepare a good playlist or something for the hours you’ll spend in traffic.

Sounds like yall actually have a useful mass transit system unlike the joke of a train here in H-town.

I mean it isn’t the best that’s for sure but it’s not as bad as some on the internet claim it to be. Definitely needs to be expanded with more stops

Anyone who genuinely fears for their safety coming into town for a big event in Atlanta is a raging pansy. If you're a white person, the only time that you should genuinely fear for your safety is if came to town to make a dope deal in the hood.

It's ironic how there are plenty of liberals in Atlanta, the kind that internet tough guys often reference, but these same liberals aren't walking around scared and "watching their six," while the internet tough guys are afraid that someone would try and hurt them and be mean to them if they came to Atlanta.

ATL’s traffic is no worse than any other American city. I agree on using MARTA, though. Park in the burbs (for cheap or free) and take the train to the Benz. I take my kids frequently. Never feels unsafe.

It's much better here in Colorado Springs than anywhere near Atlanta. Sorry.

I know what you're talking about. Atlanta traffic is horrendous (almost as bad as here in Los Angeles, my home). However, if you take the trains from your hotel, it's very simple. Trains stop right at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) which is right next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

If you fly, you can take the trains straight from the airport into downtown Atlanta or farther into Buckhead for hotels, shopping, etc. We always stayed in Buckhead and took the train from there straight to the stadium.

Take MARTA trains (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority)....

.....and avoid THIS!!

appreciate the info. I was just unlucky enough to drive through ATL around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon on my way back to Texas and it was awful. Next time I go I'll check out the transit system. Kind of regret not going to the game tomorrow but the playoffs are far more important.

I take surface roads out of downtown and avoid that interstate traffic. I can make it from the stadium to Roswell where my daughter lives in 30-45 minutes.
