There is no way the SEC office will let the schedules be this lopsided… especially at the expense of Alabama.
Leave it to an Auburn fan to find a piddling scheduling injustice at Bama's expense.

Alabama
Should be - Auburn, Tennessee, MSU
Will be - Auburn, Tennessee, LSU
It will be imbalanced for Bama but that LSU game has been big for TV

Snakey has a new favorite these days. It will be lop-sided

All of this is driven by TV and driving weekly matchups that people want to tune in for. I.E. eliminating your November game against Southwest Directional State Technical College. ESPN isn't paying for that.
ESPN and SEC aren't giving the axe to one of their highest viewed games in LSU/Bama. There's zero chance that's happening.

Why not? Tennessee / Auburn are locks, and LSU vs Bama is one of the most viewed TV games every year.
That game won't be going forward. My guess is Alabama gets: Auburn/Tennessee/Miss State.

LSU needs an easier SOS. LSU has always, always had a Top 10 SOS in the 136 team FBS. I have never once seen LSU not have a Top 10 SOS. It's time we get an easy Missou or Texas or Ole Miss this year type schedule.

LSU should get Bama, Ole Miss, and Florida. The only one that should negotiable is Ole Miss

Texas - "Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas"
There is zero chance it's anything but this for TX

bama will get Vandy as a permanent opponent..... WITHOUT QUESTION!

I doubt ABC/ESPN will agree to drop the annual LSU vs. Bama game. Big winner the last 20 years in TV ratings… But Bama loves/needs them some State cowbells.

### All-Time Series Overview (All Years)
The site **mcubed.net** provides a helpful breakdown of the complete series:
* **All-time against Mississippi State** (not limited to any timeframe):
* **Points For per Game (Alabama)**: 23.7
* **Points Against per Game**: 9.4
* **Average margin**: \~**+14.3 points** in Alabama’s favor ([Mcubed][1]).
---
### Since 1990 – Estimate Using Recent Decades
While detailed, year-by-year data since 1990 isn’t tabulated online, we can approximate using the decade data that includes much of that era:
* **2010s** (10 games):
* Alabama scored an average of **31.2 points per game** against MSU
* Allowed **9.1 per game**
* **Average margin**: \~**+22.1 points** ([Mcubed][1]).
* **2020s** (through 4 games):
* Alabama scored an average of **40.0 points**
* Allowed **8.0 per game**
* **Average margin**: \~**+32.0 points** ([Mcubed][1]).
These recent decades show a **clear upward trend** in the average margin of victory, likely influenced by Alabama's increasing dominance under Coach Nick Saban.
---
### Approximation: Alabama vs. MSU Since 1990
From the data available:
* **Pre-2010 (1990–2009)** likely had narrower margins—especially in MSU victory years.
* But **from 2010 onward**, Alabama's average win margins have been hefty:
* **\~22 points** in the 2010s
* **\~32 points** in the early 2020s
If we blend these with some narrower wins in the 1990s and early 2000s, a **reasonable estimate** for the average margin of Alabama victories over MSU since 1990 is likely in the **+20 to +25 points** range.
---
### Final Estimate
| Time Frame | Avg. Margin (Alabama over MSU) |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------ |
| All-time | ˜ +14.3 pts |
| 2010s (2010–2019) | ˜ +22.1 pts |
| Early 2020s (2020–2023) | ˜ +32.0 pts |
| Since 1990 (estimate) | **˜ +20 to +25 pts** |
---
**Bottom Line**:
Since **1990**, Alabama has likely averaged around a **20- to 25-point margin of victory** over Mississippi State, with recent years skewing much higher especially in the 2010s and early 2020s.
Let me know if you’d like help digging into exact game-by-game numbers or how this margin compares to other key rivalries!

Being an OU fan,
What I think: Texass, Texas A&M, Missouri
What I'd rather have: Texass, Missouri, Arkansas (I think this should be a rivalry).
Wild card: Texass, Missouri, LSU/Florida

I hope this is what they go with. Solid list.

I won’t be surprised if the SEC forces OU-LSU on Thanksgiving weekend. Mizzou-Arkansas has been doing that lately. It’ll either be that or Mizzou-OU and LSU-Arkansas.
