Michigan would be foolish not to promote Moore. They need to maintain as much continuity as possible. Alabama is a cautionary tale.
And BK isn’t a Michigan man.

Y’all have been telling us how much BK sucks for the last 2 years so I guess this would be a blessing for LSU?

We’ll just take Drink like we’ve taken his staff.

Considering most of our players are from Louisiana I doubt it

Let’s think this through logically.
Kelly makes $9.5 million a year. $95 m guaranteed 10 yr deal.
Michigan would have to offer at least
$12m - $14m per year for 7-8 yrs fully guaranteed. Which they will never do.
Additionally, Kelly just got his wish list of Defensive coaches the last 3 weeks
He also has the number 1 ranked QB, RB, and WR committed for the class of 2025.
If he leaves, he leaves but it would have to be some stupid money Michigan throws his way. Stupider than the money we are giving him now.

Trace is trying to get BK a raise and extension.
I would call his bluff and put Lane on speed dial if needed.

Meh, it really doesn't matter. If the last two bozos to coach at LSU can win NCs at LSU. Anyone can win one at LSU.

After all the staff firings and hirings and recruiting he's done so far in the offseason, and Saban now out of the picture, I just don't see it happening.
When the season was going on I thought there might have been a small chance he'd take the job. The only reason is that he's coached 2 different schools in the state of Michigan already, it's a "fit" and that's about the only reason. But even then, he had a good thing going at ND and he uprooted himself from that to come to LSU knowing it was going to be a rebuild, and I just didn't see why he leave what he had built at ND just to do 2 years of rebuilding only to leave yet again, especially with all the players Michigan is losing to the draft and that portal window will open and they'd lose even more.
Compound that with the reasons in my first sentence, it just doesn't really make any sense at this juncture.
