Let's put this in perspective. How many of you remember college basketball before the 3 point line? The 3 point line was still 7 years away from being adopted in college basketball the year UGA won it's last national championship. I don't think advice from back on this era of college football is relevant to modern college athletics. Unless that advice is how to properly defend the wishbone attack.
