Had they never fired him and continued giving him a $2 million raise ever four years, and had he kept his 66.2% winning percentage, the Aggies today would have saved $102 million and would also have two more wins.

An interesting stat but still dont blame them. I for one thought Jimbo and Elko were homerun hires at the time

Didn't Sumlin have off the field drinking problems towards the end there? Seems like an important implication.

Sumlin was hired because he was supposed to be an offensive genius. Come to find out he was a fraud and had been relying totally on Kingsbury for his offensive. The Sumlin hired the dumbest two OC’s possible after KK. Sumlin had abstinence clue what a defense was.
