Okay, let me go slowly through this for you.

And I assume since you didn't quote, you are asking about the thread starter.

I said before that game, Georgia needs to start fast. Get out to a big lead early because he doesn't overcome two score deficits.

He's a good coach. I never said he wasn't. And he doesn't get behind by two scores often and most good coaches don't. It's hard to overcome those. But it's pretty remarkable that he's never done it, not even one time, in his coaching career. And it's not like it only happens to him once a season.

Whether it's lack of adjustments or not being able to rally the team, etc. I don't know. But he doesn't overcome two score deficits.

So the reason I'd say it's important to know is that you'd feel pretty good about beating him if you put him in a hole early.

Now, you might say you'd always feel good about putting a team/coach in a hole early and that's true. But who would you feel more confident in beating if you got their team down early: Smart or DeBoer?

How much has uga paid Kirby to lose to BAMA 10/12 games?
Cost them over a million this year, but he finally earned his paycheck against BAMA in ATL, so I guess this year is a push?

Let me explain this to you. Right now, I don't GAS about 2-7 (that's Kirby's record vs. Bama. You guys generally exaggerate things). You bringing that up is helping you cope with last Saturday. Take your medicine and move on.

You win your first playoff game, you think Bammers are gonna give a rat's behind about OU dominating you historically? No. And that's fair. Get on here and talk your crap.

You won earlier this year, I totally acknowledged Bammer was Kirby's daddy. You got the glory at that time. Enjoy it. Your responses just show how much that smackdown Saturday bothers you.

English must be your second language based on your screen name and your inability to understand how little that game meant to me. Uga won it. OK. BAMA didn't budge one spot in the rankings. Neither did uga despite someone ahead of them losing.

So besides DOUBLING Kirby's win total vs BAMA and the SEC champ trophy, it meant little.

Yes, I understood what you meant the first time.

My question of why it matters came directly from my ego, so I apologize for that.

My thinking that led to my egotistical response was the following:

UGA beat Bama last weekend. I don’t care about Bama and their coach until UGA has to face Bama again. I don’t feel the need or want to analyze anything about Bama, or any other team, until my Georgia has to play them again. These thoughts have nothing to do with Bama. I feel the same about any other team not named Georgia.

I suppose in a few weeks I’ll start caring about Ole Miss, unless Tulane pulls the unimaginable upset.

Just because I don’t care doesn’t mean you or anyone else shouldn’t. So I apologize for that. I’ll try to do better.

Georgia finally managed a quality game against us.

There was that 2021 National Championship game.

Pretty rare occurrence you’d have to say.

Almost as rare as an Alabama win over Oklahoma, but yes.

Yeah. Doing stuff like that never backfires. Would prefer it if we just got the win, said "Good game." and went into the locker room. Do what you want in there.

Absolutely. Are you somehow under the impression that Georgia fans don't realize how lopsided the series with Alabama has been lately? We also realize that it seems to be shifting and we are starting to win some big games against Alabama.

Belts aren't scary.

Having to go out and pick out your own switch is scary.

definitely worth the $32 million you’ve paid out since you hired him

Auburn fans aren't really in any position to lecture other programs on coaching salaries and returns on investments.

Well, let's see....genius.

From 2008 to 2021 Alabama had reeled off 7 straight wins. Since that time, Georgia has managed to win 2 of the last 5. One for a National Championship and the other for a SEC Championship. Two huge games, signaling that we MIGHT be turning the tables a bit.

Also, we just beat you by 21 points.

Also, we have won two national Championships since Alabama last won one.

Also, Georgia has won two straight SEC titles and 3 of the last 4.

Mind you, I never said we had turned the tables...only that it appears we are beginning to...but if you want to get sarcastic...genius...then read my post and tell me we are not doing better. I mean, last season your team didn't even manage to make it to a 12 team playoff. Something no one would have thought possible 3-4 years ago...and you barely made it in this year.

I hated that I had to explain it to you, but i guess it is best you get it from a genius rather than some empty echo chamber like the Alabama board.

Here is the post I made:
We also realize that it seems to be shifting and we are starting to win some big games against Alabama.

Are you saying we have not won any big games against Alabama?

Dude. 2down10 brought up Oklahoma in a onversation. I mean Alabama likes to say they are superior to georgia right now because 1-2 and 2-7 etc...it's fair to say Oklahoma must be superior to Alabama based on that reasoning.

Don't you think that is fair?

We were discussing rare occurrences...Alabama beating Oklahoma fits that narratvie.
