Looked good. Tennessee looks to have a legit two headed monster at RB with Hurd and Kamara.
Nice move

Kamara has more explosiveness than any RB we've had for a long time.
It is nice to have a running game again.

They're good, for sure. Need a line to run behind, though.

Yeah because the VOLS posters don't need to have their delusional heads get any bigger.....

Ya the kid is legit. Hope Auburn will be able to contain him in the SECCG this season.

Although he and Hurd looked good...Bowling Greens tackling ability is horrible and its hard to judge them so far. They will face a defense real soon that knows how to tackle and does it well.

This is true, but then again BG had the 12th best rushing defense in the country last year. We had 6 rushing TDs among 3 players. 144 yards by Kamara, 127 yards by Hurd, and 89 by Dobbs in addition to that. It's a good sign we were able to dominate the rushing game like that. It's a positive sign, despite OUs defense being obviously and upgrade from BG.

The OL looked much, much better than at any other point last season. Run blocking, pulling, pass protection, getting to the 2nd and 3rd level on run plays all took a major step forward.
OL looks better than all of us thought they would and the secondary struggled more than we thought they would. Bowling Green has a good little squad though fwiw. They should compete for their conference championship and a 9 win season as long as their QB doesn't get hurt. They'll end up beating 2 or 3 of the weaker P5 teams they play (Purdue, Maryland, and Indiana?) They were far from a New Mexico State or UTEP type cupcake game.
We've got some things to work on at MLB and in the secondary. The offense looked the best it's been since Butch has been here though IMO. The vertical game looked good for being so vanilla and the scheme itself reminded me more of the power spread that Ohio St runs compared to what we ran last year under Bajakian. Offense and special teams took a major step forward while the D definitely needs some work. Credit that offense and speed at which they operate though. That should be the fastest offense that we see all year (3rd fastest at snapping the ball in the country up with Oregon)
