At least our punter is well rested. We never needed him once in game one.

Our defensive secondary needs work.

This is what concerns me the most about Texas. Relying on your offense especially week 2 against Ohio State is a huge ask. Last, you beat this Ohio state defense by small chip plays which requires consistency and a red zone offense….something Texas lacks because I didn’t see that against Texas state despite the hype.

Time for your yearly dose of Buckeye medicine.

I'm not sure why some of you guys are so confident about this game after seeing our offensive line last Saturday.

Our defense will definitely need to step up, or OSU’s passing game will kill us. Our defense did look motivated, with some hard hitting, in the opener.

Yeah, I was leaning Texas but starting to lean Ohio state now. That vulnerable secondary, lack of pressure on Texas State QB, and reliance on big chunk offensive plays concerns me. I think last year was as a fluke that Texas should’ve won but they just didn’t.

If Sark could keep his mouth shut I might be able to pull for Texas. He is such a hateable hypocrite.

It’s like Groundhog Day

Last year they looked like trash but it was “we played vanilla and kept our players from revealing secrets and we didn’t want Archie showing he can throw past 5 yards so we can surprise OSU!” Then Ohio state beat them silly

This year it’s “we played vanilla and we didn’t want OSU to see how good our defense can be so we held back!”

It would be foolish to expect anything different this years, and exact repeat Ohio State dominance over the Trannies, then the get a garbage time score , then throw some hail Mary’s and pretend it was a close game all over social media

Time to put aside your differences, and patriotically support Texas vs. this big out of conference foe. Honestly, I’m for all of the wins that SEC teams can accomplish vs the B10 this year…

Not gonna happen

But my honest breakdown of your chances is not good, I think it’s going to look like last year where Ohio State controls the clock and forces their will on your defense, arch will have to stick to behind the line of scrimmage passes or nothing longer than 5 yards until it becomes time to be desperate, but it will be too little too late

I really think it will be a repeat of last year, but who knows, heck hold Texas State University to under 200 yards and maybe you have reason for more optimism but you gave up 250 yards in the first half alone.

Texas is facing a heisman finalist with a year of experience on week 2 this year not a cold rookie qb doing his first snap. It’s insane to think last year is repeatable lol.

So you think Ohio State just blows them out?

I think Texas has a salty secondary, so I don’t think a blowout will happen, but I think Ohio State will control the ball and the game

I think Ohio State will blow them out the first half and Texas tries and makes a brief comeback late in the third but falls short a touchdown or two. I think Texas defense isn’t going to be as strong as the last previous years and that’s going to make a huge difference.
