The expression "good Lord willing and the Creeks don't rise" is a fixture in southern slang, but was literally a reference to the Creek Indians, not flooding.

I did not know that. Never get too old to learn I guess.

The misery for opponents at Auburn starts at the visitors locker room. Most 1A public schools in Alabama have better.

Why are you hanging out in the visitors locker room? Is that where you made your glory hole?

That means you were in Baghdad when Muhammad Najib ar-Rubai'i was president over there.

Did you ever meet him?

This is where you are mistaken. Our Creeks love OU. After Jackson and people in the southeast stole their land, they were given land in Oklahoma which they still have. Rather than steal their land we just moved in to be neighbors.

The Unassigned Lands were a portion of the Creek and Seminole areas. They weren't the entire areas.

They took a bunch of the Chickasaw lands and gave them to the plains tribes like the Comanche, Kiowa, Cheyenne and Arapaho and several others.

More to the point, if you southerners had won the war... none of that would have happened.

To be fair, my family fought for the North, and the Indian Territory supported the South, so yes.

The only thing you got right here was that they went vanilla on offense. You botched why they did that.

They didn’t go vanilla on defense until the last ~5 minutes the game. In fact, Hawkins faced more pressure than Arnold did.

6 weeks ago you and your fellow Auburn fans where screaming playoffs, 10 wins or more, Freeze will break scoring records, best WRs ever, etc . Now reality has set in for you idiots.

I LOVE IT .

The OU offensive line is so bad, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Youda had me last year and that line might have worked in 2023 but 77 of the 85 players on Auburn's roster were recruited by Freeze in 2024, big fella

Agreed… I had high hopes for JA.
You never know what you’re going to see with a freshman.
