I mean, that's the heart of what's happening. Sankey and tenner bitch are ate up with it. Lane isn't helping with his off the cuff comment at halftime, but that's only at most fine worthy. That would be consistent. And of course Lane could argue it was aimed at Clem's son and the media.
I said last week that I'm wondering where the adults are in the room. I think Rouse is it. Certainly not Sankey or TNBitch, and Lane is about winning games and looking for ways to get an edge. Not sure about Verge, but he could be the typical yes man.
Rouse needs to simply impose a helfty fine on Lane and tell the SEC. I agree 100% with Sidewalk. If the TNBitch & Co try to impose something stupid, it's fricking on. The SEC already admitted in the federal court this week that there's zero 1st hand proof of LSU maneuvering the Louisiana RO thing. The lawyers and players involved have repeatedly said the same thing.
SEC needs to deescalate. Alas, I fully expect TNBitch to continue her crusade.
Question is, when will the rest of the SEC tell her and Sankey to cool their jets?
