bullshite what’s happening here is what happens when every single SEC member institute saw something on Saturday that made them absolutely scared shitless of LSU…..that’s it point blank….if we lose to Clemson this simply doesn’t happen.

Yes it does. SEC policy states only players who are in good standing with the NCAA are eligible for conference play. It’s literally in the rules.

Agreed. BUT it also reinforces the ludicrous claim that "amateurs" who make a million a year to play at State U are amateurs and "pros" are guys who had a cup of coffee in an NFL camp. Or that some rules (Alabama playing a legit pro and Ole Miss having a 6-year qb) are more sacred than others. The SEC is undermining its own authority-Sankey is burying the league office. Rage trolling aside, only true idiots would cheer for the league office.

Seems like when a coach alledgedly sent a player a blank check when that player was in class at another institution would have been a good time for all of this. That coach also "showed his arse" and there wasn't anything like this. Wonder why.

This isn't about removing LSU. It's about establishing the legal authority to do so.
I love how everyone has moved the goal post. NEWFLASH: They are all professional players now. There is no such thing as a student athlete anymore and I love all the morons that gobbled up the SEC statement that is completely nonsensical.
LSU scares the crap out of people in Alabama, they know they are losing control of the conference. This is because LSU has drop bags to build a team because they want to win and Gumps and 14 others are mad they did not do the same. Bet they expected Texas would be the one to do it, not LSU. Plus, LSU is taking steps to build a nation wide brand system to endow funds for those bags remain in place forever. They are taking steps to not need the SEC. LSU is positioning itself for the mega-conferences to come.

I am not a lawyer. I think though there's a big issue with local judges ruling on one thing which is why even though LSU did not roster the players the SEC is asking the Federal Court to basically say 'yes, you have the right to do this.'
I don't think they are asking because they're going to do anything but they want the ruling that says they can.
