I'm proving my ignorance about Auburn players?
Mr. "I don't see why people think AU's defense will be worse."
If I am being ignorant on one player then you were ignorant to an entire defensive unit and staff.
Mason lacks the toughness and Vision to run north south in a non spread offense.

Tre mason is a scat back and tackles are not the only stat to pay attention to for defensive players.

Did I click on the Tiger Rant? This is total homer BS. Even the UTenn fans made a totally legitimate argument about Da'Rick Rodgers, and you counter by saying RR has better YPC? Who freaking cares!!

Yeah, after several attempts, he just hasn't had success running up the middle and has proven he can't break tackles.

I'd say RR has a good argument to put him on the list. Upshaw should be on the list for sure, though.

RR is a great receiver, no doubt. But Da'Rick has more receptions, yards, and touchdowns. I think Upshaw belongs on the list, not so much Upshaw, he hasn't exactly been an all-star yet this year, but he has been invaluable to this defense.

I had to be optimistic about something. I am usually pessimistic...

Just because they are really good players, doesn't mean they've played that great so far, which they haven't. This list is the All-SEC based on how you've played so far. At this point in the season, they've been outplayed by a couple other LB's.
Its not any bit homer at all.

I'm not even referring to any UA players. I could care less about them being on a list. We haven't played great, but putting nearly every an absurd amount of LSU players on it is ridiculous. I specifically cited the discussion on page 2 about RR over Da'Rick Rodgers

I dont think I've ever made that many grammatical errors in a post.
Proofreading is hard
I think we see the real UA defense this weekend, and it will put us on a roll for the rest of the season. At least I'm hoping

LSU has faced far greater competition. Da'Rick plays in a pass first offense.
What did you think about Julio Jones his sophomore year? His stats weren't good. Yet he was a preseason all-american on almost every single list the following year..

Thats because he was their best offensive tackle

Which was a legit arguement you cited as homerism there was more than the one post about ypc. Also mentioned that UT is a pass first offense...yada yada go read it agian. Dude is a beast but we will find out more about him with no Justin Hunter opposite him and him now going up against the number one DB. Reuben Randle has similar stats as Justin Hunter with a few less receptions and most consider him the best WR in the league let alone at UT.
