My retarded arse is leaving the Ham at 4am friday. According to the projected path I saw today, when I skirt across north LA, I'll be about 100 miles south of what will be left of the eye.... should be an interesting drive to say the least.

The downside being. It is only a city 10k. But the fire station and police station are only few blocks further away. Cops area already riding around town with their lights on. So they seem to be on top of it all

Love the sportsmanship at times like this.

Thanks!

Riding it out in BR. Doesn't seem like it even wants to become a hurricane.

Most likely just a lot of rain. Storm surge won't be much. Those tornadoes that spin off is the biggest pain.

North Texas needs to be scheduled in December from now on.

Are they still saying it's supposed to be a Cat. 2 by the time it hits land? If not then it should be gravy. I was in Queens when that "hurricane" hit New York this time last year. I had the window open while it hit. The northerners were flipping out, but I gotta tell ya, we have thunderstorms down south that are worse than that hurricane was.

Supposedly Cat 2 at worst but it just depends on how slow it moves, how long it stays out in the Gulf.

Just west of Hammond so that line is going directly over my house

Already stocked on alcohol food and water and know of about 10 hurricane parties already for when my power goes.

Everyone else in the path stay safe!

Hope the damage is minimal, and excited at the prospect of heavy rain. We've been in a drought here for a year.

Be safe, people. So far so good, just finished the first band of rain, waiting on the next one. Wind's not too bad yet.

Isaac is George Bush's fault.
