All it took was a little bit of coaching from Jimbo to ruin Weigman

Think about this. He played better as a raw talent against Ole Miss than he did after only two more weeks of being named the guy and for Jimbo to focus his QB guru techniques on him. I bet Haynes King would be a Heisman candidate at any other program.

He could convert the trophy in to a helmet. Then again, probably not big enough.

They should give all the players thinking of transferring a little Heisman with “20__ Heisman Trophy Winner” on them.

I remember it was like this towards the end of Sumlin’s tenure. Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray both looked like shite here. They transferred and one won the Heisman and both are still playing in the NFL I think.

Sumlin and Fisher were both “QB Gurus”

He’d be just fine with a halfway decent scheme.

This is what the end of Fishers tenure at FSU looked like, but then y’all threw the huge contract at him. Everyone in the SEC made fun of you and you kept thinking big contract = big results. You deserve all of this.

The offense actually looked great the first couple of years under Jimbo when he actually used a tight end and a balanced offense that kept the defense off the field. He has it in him but he checked out after getting that big extension just like our last 4-5 coaches.

One of these centuries the big money Ags will realize you can’t buy success. I don’t think I’ll see it in my lifetime though.

Kinda weird the richest teams in Texas have the least success while teams like Baylor and TCU just keep winning with different coaches.

A&M having “all the money in the world” is a lie. Is not that they lack resources, but if you put all the disposable money for Football all the 50-60 biggest programs have… how much A&M brings to the table? Less than 2%? Maybe less than 1%. You think that’s enough to economically bully everyone else? You see how absurd it is. If money was really unlimited you fire Fisher and get the best coach in the NFL for 20 mill a year.

Is not impossible that A&M will one day break through, is just this notion is some kind of fluke it hasn’t that makes it absurd.

A&M wouldn’t kill people to be successful at football. More worried about what’s being said and being a good host or being nice.

At some point, you have to look at the complexity required in his offense, specifically what he is asking the QB to do. The man literally had a play sheet, a spiral notebook, and another few loose pages in his hands last night. If he cant create a concise game plan of his own offense, how can he expect the QB to do so?

Absolutely nothing has looked smooth/natural from his QBs since day 1 at A&M. From Mond to Weigman, they all look like its the first day of camp at times every single game.

A&M could hire Hitler, wipe out half of humanity and still wouldn’t win a NC.

It’s not that big of a lie. I bet they pay that buyout after this year or next…

The problem is they’re going to go out and pay big money to Jimbo 2.0 or Sumlin 3.0. Rinse and repeat.

It is.

A company that accounts for less than 2% in total sales in an industry is nowhere near in position to just bully the competition. It would have happened by now if A&M really has the money advantage you fantasize of having.

All we see is A&M being DEAD LAST in the SEC.
