Is it possible for him to party harder than he already does, tho?

If he doesn't get suspended, this could go one of two ways...

1: The stress of it all gets to him, the team loses some amount of faith in him and he regresses. This likely results in a downward spiral of crap until he is no longer the starter and isn't back next year.

2: He and the team take on a "frick the world" attitude and he directs all the frustration into making us a serious threat.

Honestly, this is more along the lines of what I'm expecting. Look, the worst thing that could happen (from an A&M fan's perspective) would have been that the team got fat, happy, and complacent from a better-than-expected 2012 campaign and came into '13 undermotivated. This could be excellent fodder to give the Aggies everything to prove in '13.

I dunno, man. I just hope he doesn't snap and go full blown Travis Bickle.

I mean, all bullshite aside, this would be great.

What evidence, however, have any of us seen that Johnny handles his pressure in such a constructive manner? From what I've witnessed... ok, let me reword that.

From what I've had shoved down my fricking throat by the SECr, he seems more prone to self-destructive behavior when the heat gets too much to bear.

Yes, but he was under the warm glow of a limelight at that point. The hardcore negativity of the offseason shite had yet to begin when the Cotton Bowl was played.

I mean, sure he had the pressure that a big time college quarterback faces, but that's within the context that Johnny seems to be most comfortable.

I've gotten the impression that Johnny deals with a lot of his personal stress and frustration by flinging the pigskin around, and I personally think that's pretty cool; not enough kids have constructive outlets for their frustration and they end up sucking dicks in alleyways for cocaine... but I digress.

My worry is that this scandal might hit Johnny right in his comfort zone, poisoning the well. As much as people may make fun of him, his limelight, his acne, how he parties, the bitches he fricks and so forth, this really isn't a laughing matter, in my opinion.

I suppose we'll find out. Gonna be real interesting for sure.

For selfish reasons, I hope he handles the pressure well.

I hope he handles the pressure well, because I don't want to see him go off the deep end and something tragic happen. There has to come a point where I say, "Ok, yeah, frick football. This is actually a bit more important."

He did kinda destroy a top-10 team in the CB after a bunch of BS and a Heisman.
