How quickly things can change. Keep in mind, your QB situation will not improve from this year to the next and LSU has Fournette another year. We've lost 4 in a row, but it can quickly become two in a row in our favor.

Flame away.

Actually, in this case, you do.

3 unforced turnovers in Alabama territory, extremely flukey touchdown that should have been a pick six.

Credit Ole Miss for taking advantage of Bama's mistakes, but let's not act like Bama wouldn't have beaten them to a bloody pulp without the derps.

Am I the only one who giggles when LSU fans bring up Ole Miss? Y'all uh, y'all keep watching that game.

No need to. I can watch the Tennessee game for a better example.

Is that the game where Tenn ran for 130 yards and scored a season low 14 points?

They held us to our lowest point total and yardage total of the season.

Yet, Tennessee still led with 3 minutes to play? Yep, that's the one.

Yet, Tennessee was within 60 total yards of Alabama and led with less than 3 minutes remaining.

I see Bama struggle one week and look like giant slayers the next. Reminds me of LSU. It's like, LSU is playing LSU of previous years. Good run game, good defense, bat arse crazy QB. LSU looks more like Bama (great run game behind a great o-line, limited mistakes, good defense, game manager at QB).

I don't know what the hell to think of this game. LSU could come out and pull an Auburn kind of win where everything just works. Or, they could show up and forget how to play defense and simultaneously have Les Miles crawl into a hole of just trying to pound the ball and lose like 2011.

Bama could come out and play an LSU like 2014 game and look dominant only to give up a last minute drive and lose in OT or 2012 style regular time. Or, they could come out and everything click and have no turnovers and pull a solid win over LSU like 2013.

So, looking at the past games this year from both teams, its likely LSU gets out early on Bama (maybe off Coker mistakes) and Miles goes two tights and vanilla passing game and we all chew our fingernails in the final quarter.

Don't kid yourself.

Preach to yourself, Rosie. Fournette doesn't have to "run wild" to get a buck fifty and a couple of scores on 'Bama. This is the best team 'Bama will face in the regular season. They don't need super efforts by any one guy to beat 'Bama. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 or 2 of the Tigers take it up a notch.

Is Cooper Bateman as good as Jake Coker? Why isn't he playing more than your current 5th yr quarterback who had to transfer schools to a less competitive QB situation?

Carry on.

Come on dude, Ole Miss outplayed you guys overall. Yeah there was a lucky bounce, and a missed call ( gee, Gumps, how many lucky calls have you gotten against LSU in the past) but the Rebs had you under control. To be honest, I thought Tennessee outplayed you last week, the only difference is that Ole Miss had slightly better receivers than Tennessee.
