That's about 10 miles up the beach. If people want to go to party, they can find the hookers too.

They're surrounded by bars and the beach.

The problem is that the FB is the celebrity, model, party hotel with bars and nightclubs and hot arse all over the place... The clubs stay open til 6am...

The Westin Diplomat is a nice hotel for business travelers... Kind of like a very upscale Hampton Inn.

It's like Night and Day comparing the two.

I totally agree. I am psyched for them that they are staying somewhere so cushy. Probably easier to keep tabs on them when they are in a place like that than a place where they have to scatter anyway.

Kelly's Cincinnati team stayed at the FB in 2009 probably why he chose to stay away from miami this time, learned a lesson that year

Not sure if ND is staying at the diplomat its just usually the two orange bowl hotels are the FB and diplomat

Maybe someone who has enough nerdy time can go back 10 years to all of the games where players stayed and determine whether there is a pattern with the win loss record.

Then Alabama fans can panic and blame the BCS for setting us up to fail.

Doesnt mean they obey it

TCU players stayed out until 8am the night before they played boise state in the fiesta bowl by sneaking out of their rooms, and those players who did had the worst games of their lives

Yep, ND is staying at the Diplomat, which is extremely nice/5-star, as well, just a much different style/atmosphere from the FB. But both of those are the designated hotels, you're right. It's not like Saban chose to be at the FB. With the curfew, it really shouldn't be a big deal.

WTF do TCU players have to do with Alabama players. Better to use Alabama player past history than another team's past history.

One thing that makes me feel a little better...

This is not Bama's first rodeo. I think they will be focused.

Too much on the line for the Seniors

Gary patterson ended up hiring overnight security that manned and watched all hotel entrances for the rose bowl hotel and sent home curfew violators and those who tried to sneak out on a bus.

But the team hotel for the fiesta bowl was too easy to sneak out of since the eooms were spread out among a golf course, all on ground level with backdoors that went ti patios.

Must have had a shitty coach. Bama's got Saban. He'll process their arse if they get out of hand.

I was kidding. It was part of the conspiracy theories here last year when everyone said they were spotted in Harrahs and on Bourbon Street.
