That's alot of busts and soon to be busts. You would think the NFL would have learnt by now most Saban players have poor ethics and character and their stats are inflated from mostly playing under talented teams (thanks to the NCAA allowing them to freely buy players from the other teams).

Damn I love Auburn fans

He doesn't understand statistics, and obviously you don't either.

Don't try and learn it, though, you would just hurt yourself.

you need to go find an anvil or a fence post to argue with for a while, and give some of these normal folks a break.

Those would provide a higher level of intelligence than you and many other Bama fans!

You're the one that keeps coming back for more, Scooter.
must be deflating to have to absorb one verbal arse whipping after another...especially when the ones who are administering them are not as intelligent as an anvil or fence post, huh?

From 2007 to 2015, Bama signed 156 four and five star athletes. During the same time frame, AU signed 114.

Bama has won four more NCs over the last nine years than AU has won, with only 16% more four and five star athletes on average.

You tell me where the shitty coaching is at.

This is shocking. How does a program average 5 losses a year in that time frame with that much talent?

BammerDelendaEst and IronPuppet are those type of fans that are more obsessed with hating their rival then supporting their own team. Hell the first guy has Bammer in the name, so that should show of how obsessed he is. It’s useless arguing with people like that who are filled to the brim with jealousy.

I understand that, AU has their fair share of shite talkers.

A the end of the day why can't any one of them explain how they've managed 4 L's/yr while pulling in 114 4-5*'s in the last decade?

Don't know...never have experienced that, certainly not on here.

I'm sure you could tell us all about what that feels like, Bubba.

I explained this to you specifically back when you made your post about this nonsense,

LINK

From the site above, Clemson averaged 0.03 penalties per play in 2016-2017 season. It's not clear whether this is for both offense and defense, but let's take the worst case and say they're all on offense.

That stat means that on any given offensive play, Clemson had a 3% chance of committing a penalty, and a 97% chance of NOT committing a penalty.

The chances of them going 99 plays without a penalty is 0.97 raised to the 99th power.

That gives you a 4.9% probability of that occurring, roughly 19-1 odds.

That is NOT a statistical impossibility.

It is a statistical impossibility that 11 players would avoid being called for a penalty for 99 consecutive plays each.

Clemson ranked in the bottom 3rd of the country in penalties committed per game.

Run those numbers. It had literally never been done before. Ever.

No, they averaged 0.04 penalties per play in 2016-2017. The 0.03 is from 2017-2018.

So, there's a 1 in 25 chance on each play Clemson is going to be called for a penalty. Odds show that in a game with 99 plays, they should be called for 4.

So, using that, we have a statistical chance of that occurring at 1.76%, or roughly 55.8 to 1.

Going into the game, the numbers are different (as those stats include the Alabama game).

Of course, all of this is off because the total penalties are on both sides of the ball. I could not find any data that broke down offense and defense (Clemson, for example, had 3 penalties that game - all on defense). Clemson, if all penalties had been committed on the offense, would have averaged 0.08 per play. So we know that defense and offense are slapped into those stats.

We do know that they were called for half of their average, despite the 165 plays in the game. By contrast they had 146 plays total vs VA Tech, and were called for 8 penalties. 166 against Pitt and 10 penalties.
