And you underestimate the skill of Ingram and Richardson. If Ingram was in the NFL he'd be the 3rd best back RIGHT NOW.

That's taking it too far IMO. Without a doubt he'd be the 3rd best tho. Give them a few years and Ingram and Richardson might be the best 2 backs in the NFL.

I don't think they need a few years. They could go right now and replace any NFL back they wanted...

Dude...if you took the AFC pro bowl starting skill players and just subbed in the lines from Alabama, THAT team couldn't beat the Detroit Lions.

You'd get slaughtered on the line. I'd say less than 100 yards of total offense the entire game and getting run over on defense every play.

You have got to be joking unless you're stupid

Probably, but lets not get carried away here. However, the people in this thread saying the Lions have better skill players is just laughable. All they have is Calvin Johnson, whom may I had drops wide open passes in the 4th quarter.

Vlachos, Jones, Carpenter, and Fluker could all play in the NFL right now you fricktard. Take off the homer glasses. Fluker is 6'7 340 pounds and wears a size 23 shoe, he'd murder the Lions.

Herman Johnson was bigger and was a great college player for LSU

He's on a practice squad right now

The STD technically couldn't invade that host, so that means you are dumber than that rock with said STD...

You underestimate the ability of Joe Pendry. He's the best OL coach in football.

Anyone who plays in the NFL was pretty much a TOTAL STUD in college.

So just because Peterson is in college he's not as good as most starting CB's in the league? Give me a break.

You forget that the guys in the NFL know football better than anyone... This same comparison was made after UF won its second NC and it was determined that the lions would beat them then as well.
