I am in no way knocking down gymnastics but it is comical and also unbelievable that not one Bama fan on here likes baseball.

I'm not a big gymnastics fan, but there's no way you're getting me to go to a baseball game.

We used to go to baseball games on pretty spring days when there wasn't anything to do, just so we could be outside. We'd sneak in booze and lay on the bleachers, but no one actually watched the game.

You might also want to consider this (aTm and Mizzou omitted for lack of SEC history):

Alabama is 30th in all time NCAA wins and second to only Kentucky. LSU is not in the top 50.

Alabama is 31st in all time NCAA winning percentage. As in total wins, in the SEC they trail only UK and LSU does not appear in the top 50.

LSU's all time record is 1426-1092, a winning percentage of 56.6. Source

Through last season:

LSU is 701-692 all time in SEC play. A whopping 9 games over .500 and winning percentage of 50.3%

Alabama is 730-560 in league play, for a winning percentage of 57% Source

Finally, Alabama is 99-65 all time against LSU - a 60.4% winning percentage and higher than Alabama's overall SEC winning percentage. Source

It is certainly accurate to say that LSU's basketball history has moments of brilliance that exceed anything accomplished by Alabama but historically, for any given season, Alabama will win more overall games, win more conference games, and beat LSU head to head.

Sorry, but the truth often hurts. DWI.

I know that Alabamians may be shocked to hear this, but there ARE other sports outside of football Just because you may not be the best at them does not mean they are any less of a sport. I know this is a hard concept to grasp, but baseball and basketball are major sporting events that have a pastime as rich as football. Deal with it

I know it might shock Louisianans but literally 90% of the country could care less about college baseball THE only sport other than football that LSU acknowledge. LSU fans are the LAST group of people that should be cracking on Alabama fans for fan support. Alabama is one of the very few schools (Arkansas to their credit is another) that is usually in the Top 30 in average attendance in all of the Big 3 sports. LSU's pathetically embarrassing basketball support keeps them from doing the same thing as Alabama and Arkansas.

That we have a more successful college basketball history than Alabama? The facts are right in front of your face. Sorry that, other than football, you couldn't claim any national championships in sports that people actually watch

Then again, I'm smart enough to know if you frickers had a baseball team worth two shits you'd be bragging your arse off about them too. Until then, ya'll never gave two shits about baseball or any other sport that you aren't particularly good in. That's what it all boils down to

The facts that I see are that LSU's had four very spectacular seasons wrapped around an otherwise relatively poor history. Without those 4 final four seasons, your basketball program is 43 games under .500 in league play.

I guess if you're used to losing seasons, hanging onto the highs would be pretty important.

Edited to add: I didn't mention baseball, but the fact is despite the current level of suck that is Alabama baseball, the Tide is still first in all time SEC wins and second to LSU in conference titles.
